    Horrible place to stay

    This is the first time I've been tempted to write on Tripadvisor. I feel I must warn people off this place. It looks nice in the photos but it's really grim. There was a close, smelly-feet smell in the communal room of the guesthouse. The room walls are so thin that I could hear someone sniffing in the next door room. The staff were unfriendly. The bed was the hardest I have ever encountered. It's really overpriced. You can get much nicer places in Delhi for the same price.... More

    Convenient, clean, cosy steal

    I stayed here for one night only, was on a business trip. It's conveniently located, walkable from the Hauz Khas metro station, lots of transport options, nice green area with a park nearby etc. The property itself is neatly maintained, has pretty much everything you need, quite comfortable. The only couple of minor glitches was cable TV not working, and not having a bottle of water in the room. Recommend highly.... More

    Good place spoilt by incompetent staff

    We booked Marigold through Oyo and when we reached there, we were told by the girl at the reception that she hadn't received the confirmation from Oyo. It took us an hour of talking to all concerned before we could check in. We had split our booking into two and the receptionist was confused and further confused the Oyo staff. Finally, we were told we had to pay more because the advance wasn't reflecting in their system. We produced mails and all and finally spoke to Oyo to sort this issues. Some other issues were that the breakfast was served only after 8 when we had to leave by 7:30. The caretaker, a person named Lallan, refused to give a fresh towel after 3 days of check in and again, we had to speak to the front office to get it done. We used to hand the room key for cleaning but would find it poorly cleaned when we returned. The caretaker took money when we asked for milk and then told us he had lost the money, so he couldn't buy us milk or return the money. Extremely rude behaviour by the caretaker. He even shouted at us for trying to understand what needed to be filled in the guest register and after all this, had the audacity to demand money from us at the time of check out! We were asked to pay 1500 because we had visitors who arrived by train, left some luggage in our room and went out till they had to get their flight 3 hours later. The owner seemed to be a nice and understanding person when we spoke to him on this issue. It seemed more like the staff trying to make easy bucks.... More

    Friendly Staff, Good Location

    I enjoyed my stay here, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is pretty good, in Haus Khaz, across from the Police Station, a 5 minute walk to the Metro which I used a lot to tour New Delhi, and within 10 minutes walk there are some restaurants and shops. This is a residential neighborhood, not a tourist area, so don't expect lots of amenities. Also, for those looking for Western style hotel facilities, this is not that. This is a safe well-priced place to sleep. Breakfast is served upstairs, and they'll do your laundry for a small fee.... More

    Unclean, didn't seem to know we were coming

    Room was not clean with no top sheets on bed, no towels, no soap, wad of hair on the drain in the bathroom, splatters of who-knows-what on the headboards. Had to ask for everything. Loud hosts and guests in living room right outside our room until past midnight. No way to lock the door (latch pin and cylinder did not line up). Overall pretty gross except breakfast. Limited choice but decent omelette.... More

  1. Guest must be over 18 years of age to check-in to this hotel.
  2. As per Government regulations, it is mandatory for all guests above 18 years of age to carry a valid photo identity card & address proof at the time of check-in. Please note that failure to abide by this can result with the hotel denying a check-in. Hotels normally do not provide any refund for such cancellations.
  3. The standard check-in and check-out times are 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may also be chargeable by the hotel. Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed to and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation. No refund will be applicable in case the hotel denies check-in under such circumstances. If you have any doubts on this, do call us for any assistance
  9. Any changes or booking modifications are subject to availability and charges may apply as per the hotel policies.
Booking Policies

  6. The total price is inclusive of all applicable taxes. However, it does not include additional personal expenses like telephone charges, meals that aren't a part of your meal plan, any hotel services you use (like laundry and room service) or tips.The hotel will charge you directly for these when you're checking out.
  7. Hotels may charge a mandatory meal surcharge on festive periods e.g. Christmas, New Year's Eve etc. All additional charges (including mandatory meal surcharges) need to be cleared directly at the hotel.
  8. Some hotels may require guest(s) to furnish a valid photographic proof of identity in original at the time of Check-in. Kindly carry the same along with you to avoid any inconvenience. The following documents are recognized for this purpose: Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence, Passport or Election Card.
  9. Note PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.
  10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
