    Beautiful place, awesome location
    on Dec 25, 2017
I went here first with my office team of nearly 25 people and we had a blast. The next time i went with my daughter and wife and we simply loved the place. Its about 2 hrs drive from South Mumbai and the hotel by itself is very well maintained - with beautiful gardens and ponds, play areas for children, small strips of land where they farm organically, and facilities for badminton, basketball, etc. We had booked a cottage that faces the Manori beach directly. The beach can be accessed directly from the hotel. The rooms are clean, well maintained and the bathrooms are super clean and modern as well. The food is all made and served inhouse with their specialties being in Goan cuisine. Though i feel their food needs a little bit of sprucing definitely. This is a great place to do an over-nighter or even a day-trip with family and friends.... More

A lovely sunny day, white sand, with a nap in the hammock, a perfect gate away!
    on Dec 5, 2017
We parked our car at a paid car parking at Marve beach (Rs.50), Malad, crossed in a ferry (Rs.10 per person), and took a Tonga (Rs. 100) to Manoribel Resort for a much needed break from our busy schedule. We had a bright sunny day but there was no sweat and we immediately headed out to the beach. You will love the white sand, its almost like a private beach. When we went there the low tide was just starting so we could enjoy in the water. We played in the sand with our daughter almost till lunch time. Ours was a villa facing the garden, the villa was ok, not bad, but anyway we didn't plan on sitting in the room for long. The villa did look beautiful and the whole property is also nice. It did not have a TV, and we actually liked that since we wanted a real break from the TV, watsapp, mails, and hectic pace of working life. The atmosphere is laid back and relaxing. Especially the nap on the hammock. One interesting experience was a small fountain with two turtles and few fish. The turtle kept chasing the fishes from one side to the other as if giving a performance to us, our daughter really enjoyed this funny sight! Remember if you are going on weekend the restaurant will be full and it takes a long time for the food to arrive. So if you are a small family of 2-3 members then better to go early and order your food. We ordered vegetarian food which was decent. There are lot of mosquitoes in that area in the evening so remember if you are staying overnight to carry odomos. In addition our room had a mosquito net. Overall great experience! Surely recommended! P.S.- If its high tide, remember there are a really large swath of rocks so don't venture too much inside water. During low tide you can easily go across the rocks and sit and watch the sunset.... More

First Smokeless Diwali, Nth Manoribel trip
    on Oct 17, 2017
Our favourite getaway when we are time poor or cash poor, Manoribel scores mostly because it's unpretentious. It is what it is, take it or leave it, seems to be their motto. Not to imply they don't care, which is what this review is about. First time in many years, we chose to escape the noise, smoke and bustle that comes with Diwali in Mumbai. As it happens, our first born Aditi has her Hindu calendar birthday fall today, धनतेरस. Soon as Bhavana, the lady who pretty much runs this place found out, celebrations, Manoribel style, were inevitable. See the bouquet (flowers from the property) and the coconut cake (truly signature dessert) materialized. As did the father's favourite bottled brand of cheer, despite not being on the menu. What more can you ask for? Happy Diwali! ... More

    on Oct 16, 2017
Manoribel is a small resort located in manori (very close proximity from malad). At first you don't expect much from this resort , but the moment you are inside . it will definitely surprise you. Very large and clean rooms facing the sea with open verandas. The staff is very courteous and helpful. The food is delicious. A very clam place to come and unwind yourself. ... More

This budget property with economical room rates maintains 25 cottage-style rooms to stay. A ferry ride from Marve Beach takes one to Manori from where an auto ride has to be taken to reach the resort, which can be checked in by 11 a.m. A 23hours restaurant serves scrumptious fare to its diners. There is a parking space within the property. A morning dip in the outdoor swimming pool is refreshing and a rest on the hammocks placed outside the guest cottages is relaxing to the mind, body and soul.
