    Perfect Place to Relax

    We stayed at Jasminn by Mango in Betalbatim for 10 nights, and we really enjoyed staying here. The room we had was in the new wing (a Comfort Room) and it was lovely, with a great shower. It had air conditioning, towels replaced and room cleaned spotlessly once a day, and you were provided with a free bottle of water each day for tea and coffee etc. Breakfast was included for us and we absolutely loved it. The breakfast included eggs (made to your preference), dhals and sambals, breads of different kinds, vegetables, noodles and your standard continental breakfast too. It isn't good for a 'full English' style breakfast but that's not what we went to Goa for! The lunch and dinner menu is also just as tasty. We ended up using the restaurant for dinner on a number of occasions as location the hotel is in is fairly quiet. The restaurant staff were very helpful and attentive (Indrajeet and the team were just great). The hotel has two pools, and a shuttle bus to the nearby beach. The location of the hotel is in a fairly quiet area, but a bus connecting you to other local places is available on the road outside the hotel. There are also a few restaurants and lots of beach shacks for food options near by, and a small centre with a shop and an ATM about a 10 min walk away. The location can, at times, feel a little cut off. We felt that the hotel could have provided better information about local tours and days out that are available from the location. For example, when planning to go to Dudhsagar Falls, the staff didn't really know about the options about getting there and directed us to the taxi drivers instead. This is a very small point, and in everything else the staff were very helpful. Our room was on the ground floor by the reception so I found it a little noisy, as you can hear conversations going on outside. I would have preferred a room further away from the reception. One evening I had to go to the reception (around 10pm) and ask for the music (the Titanic theme tune!) to be turned down as it was too loud, and the receptionist did this straight away. We did have a few key card issues, but this was sorted out by the reception staff each time. On our last day, we were allowed to keep our room for a small fee as our flight left in the early morning hours which was really helpful. All in all, we really enjoyed staying there and would totally recommend it.... More

    Peaceful locality and great services of this hotel makes this a perfect place to stay. Hotel is 2-3 km away from the beach Courteous staff especially Mr Akbar at the restaurant. Would love to visit this place again.... More

    Close to Betalbatim beach

    Very close to Betalbatim beach which I think is way better than Colva... The cleanliness is amazing here...which is the top most thing for me when staying at a hotel...so full marks for that... We stayed in the comfort wing..the room here was decently sized and airy with large comfortable bed. The staff is amazing and they keep asking all the time if u need anything and always greet you with the smile.. special mention to Indrajeet at the restaurant who was delightful to talk to... Breakfast could have been better with more choices in bread such as local bread poi and fresh fruit juices instead of canned one...the non veg options were only salami n eggs...there was better choice for veg folks... Also the in-house restaurant food is ok ok...we ordered prawn curry and rice but the curry was watery and the prawns were over cooked to the point where they had become very hard and almost unchewable... We tried again next day and ordered Chinese which was somewhat better but not great... Our room key had some issue and we had to activate it almost 8 times I think... Wifi kept getting lost in between...and it was a pain to keep signing in again n again.. One last thing is that we lost our way while coming back from Colva at night and mobile signal is so low in South Goa that maps stop working every now n then...there is no sign board of this hotel anywhere on the road..we must have asked so many folks around who had not heard anything about this place... finally some lady helped us..but really a couple of boards on road would help... Overall decent stay and I have definitely returned with pleasant memories... More

    New year visit with friends

    We chose this hotel due to other great Tripadvisor reviews ... The positives of this hotel are the hotel, pools & garden are very clean and well kept . The hotel staff are friendly although they struggle to understand English with the exception of Indrajeet in the restaurant who without him I’d never get my request of black tea with cold ( not hot ) milk . The hotel caters predominantly for Indian guests ...breakfast although simple is enjoyable, the lunch and evening meal food is very good in the restaurant. I’ve stayed in Goa many times and this is the first time I’ve came across hotel reception & restaurant staff speaking little English . It’s became very frustrating explaining where we want to go by taxi then after waiting ages the driver been told somewhere completely different or the reception not booked the restaurant you asked for after travelling there by taxi . We asked in June to be upgraded to the new block be told the day before travel we would have to move rooms 5 days later .. on arrival us four Thomas Cook guests were told we’d have to move rooms although I showed my email saying otherwise and we were quickly shown to our room .. Our superior room with ‘nice pool view ‘ which I requested at a supplement in August is of a road and roof top and waste ground and is extremely noisy with the live music from 7 most evenings, the reception argue we have a pool view .. I suppose it is if you count over the other side of the road in the next street to the side in another building we have ..visible only by leaning over the balcony , it also has no sun and is a dark room with little sun and possibly the worst position in the whole hotel ... to add insult we,re expected to pay £220 extra for this room when we find out the other Thomas cook guests were given the room we requested complimentary with a lovely pool view in our block not down the road ...... The room itself is nice enough with fantasticly comfy beds but I see little difference to the old rooms apart from they’ve a nicer view than us . If you want complete relaxation then this is the hotel for you , there not a lot near the hotel , Betalbatim Beach is beautiful and there is a free shuttle service although the driver drove past us and left us there 40 minutes in the dark after our first day on the beach .. I had to use my English mobile at £2 minute to ring the hotel twice as there was no taxi in the area ..since then the service has been excellent and he been very good and he was extremely apologetic. The laundry service is excellent and the room boys really friendly and helpful leaving lovely animal sculptures with the towels .. The negatives .. The wi-fi intermittent and our room key was changed 10 times in the first two days ... After one week I’m not sure of my complete verdict on this hotel , it’s more good than bad ...let’s see what next week brings ....... More

  1. The standard check-in time is 02 PM and the standard check-out time is 10 AM. Early check-in or late check-out is strictly subject to availability and may be chargeable by the hotel.Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  2. The primary guest must be at least 18 years old to be able to check into this hotel.
  3. The hotel reserves the right of admission. Accommodation can be denied to guests posing as a couple if suitable proof of identification is not presented at check-in. Goomo will not be responsible for any check-in denied by the hotel due to the aforesaid reason.
  4. Child policy apply which may vary from hotel to hotel.
  5. Failure to check into the hotel, will attract no show charges as per Hotel policies.
  6. The total price is inclusive of all applicable taxes. However, it does not include additional personal expenses like telephone charges, meals that aren't a part of your meal plan, any hotel services you use (like laundry and room service) or tips.The hotel will charge you directly for these when you're checking out.
  7. Hotels may charge a mandatory meal surcharge on festive periods e.g. Christmas, New Year's Eve etc. All additional charges (including mandatory meal surcharges) need to be cleared directly at the hotel.

  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
