Worst experience ever
on Dec 25, 2017
This is the worst hotel in Puri. I am this short of writing the worst hotel in the world. The rooms are so dirty that they stink. Yes they literally stink. Moist dirty smell that comes when you don't clean the room for months. Beds and tables are disgusting. There is neither a wipe nor a sprinkler in the toilet.
Just plain unhygienic. I am so sorry that I had to do that booking in a hurry without checking reviews here.
Worst hotel ever

We were a group of 80 people and we visited during Rath Yatra. We had paid advanced and were hoping for an average stay since it was peak season. I wish I could give it a -1 rating.
The toilets were dirty and had broken showers. Kitchen was very very dirty and had a horrible smell. The staff was rude and inconsiderate of guests. And when we complained , they got furious and started saying rude things.
When asked them to arrange for a bus for us for airport for next morning and they made a mistake and ordered small bus. Since we were getting late for our flight, we ordered for a cab which was hard to find and expensive in the early morning hours but we dint have any other option.
When we told them their mistake, instead of apologising they told us that they were glad we were leaving.
Don't book this hotel. You will regret it for sure.

We had recently been to Puri with our extended family and had stayed in Mahabahu International. We had rented two of their two room suites each at Rs.2500 per night. The rooms in the suties were quite big and had attached bath in both of them. Bathrooms were quite clean but all of them did not have sufficient rods/shelves to put our clothes. One suite had a balcony attached to one of the room and the other had two balconies - one with each room. The hotel seems to be not so old construction and so is still quite clean. The rooms also had a sofa-cum-bed which could sleep extra people if need, The hotel boys had provided excellent service when we messed up the room with the mud and sand after all of us got back from the sea beach. In an instant the room was clean again.
There is no sea view from this hotel as it is a couple blocks away from the sea beach but that did not bother us. Autos and rickshaws are readily available at the gate. If not then the front desk can arrange for one. We did not order any food or tea from the hotel. There is a tea stall just outside the hotel and that is where we got our tea from. Overall we had a very nice experience in this hotel and would definitely recommend it to others.
