I went to Manali during year end break along with my wife and other couples. I have booked one 3 bhk cottage. We all were delighted with the hospitality Mr Raman (the owner) offered he made sure to make everything available and did his best to make our trip comfortable and awesome. I liked the cottage it was clean and very well maintained. I would recommend to stay in this cottage if you are going in groups or with family.
Cottage has a fully functional kitchen, furnished drawing room and a fire place. Outside there is a well maintained garden area with a badminton/ basketball court. Dnt bother carrying your own sports kit, just ask Mr Raman.
It is very close to old Manali, club house and Hadimba temple and at walkable distance from mall.
Thanks Mr Raman for making for stay memorable.
A group of cottages surrounded by the owner cottage

I think its a home run business..These are old and maintained cottages...its not like your 2 or 3 star property but like your own hut which you have bought for few days..its like home stay..you cook it by your own..u relax in open like we do in our home..if you know how to enjoy within your group and gone there just to relax and enjoy greenery..... ....then it is the right destination .....
......wifi range to my cottage was poor.....
.....Owner saw us sitting on grass without any sheet and sent a sheet for us..thumbs up for that hospitality. ....
.......all kitchen aminities were there......
.......they could arrange a boy for you who brings any ration, breads, milk, medicine any thing from market. ...
Will soon come here again because of simply city of our stay.......

Worst experience of Manali Trip
on Jun 24, 2014
We 3 couples with children plan for Manali trip, and choose Leela Huts. It was a disaster to book this hotel. Room was not cleaned before check-in, very stinky place, spiders running on bed, in bathroom.
We found rotten eggs in kitchen shelf. Very poor service, staff is not cooperative at all. We have to wait for 15 - 20 minutes to get a bottle of water. Even after complaint no one is ready to listen.
My daughter got chicken pox, and we have to leave one day before our schedule, the only thing good about this place is they allow us to leave one day before and didn't charge extra. But guys if you are going to this place get everything of yours even sugar.
But I never recommend this place.
