    Definitely NOT what it says on the tin, we visited in Nov ‘peak season’ and none of the amenities we expected were available. No yoga studio, no spa, certainly no fast speed WiFi, slow breakfast service and workmen all over the place finishing the joint for ‘peak season’ whenever that is! We paid full whack to stay here (after reading about it in Lonely Planet guide) and got a fraction what we expected. We gave this place a chance to ‘makegood’ on the issues but it took us practically our whole stay to get an answer out of anyone... they gave us an insulting, paltry discount. Which showed to us that they don’t care for our custom or understand the power of word of mouth! If what I’ve written above hasn’t put you off enough...there’s fag butts all over the lawn, towels are dirty, artificial air freshener in rooms and incompetent staff. ... More

    Not as expected and staff poor

    The cottages and setting are exactly as pictured and explained on the website (I did love this part), unfortunately everything else is not! Well not for those staying at the beginning of November. There was no spa, yoga studio, useable wifi, mini bar and so the list goes on. All of which were advertised, but not delivered. And the fact that these facilities did not exist at this point was not explained on the website, correspondence emails or check in. We had to find out for ourselves through asking at reception. We were in the midst of a work in progress with roofs, fences and more being finished off as we attempted to enjoy our stay. I was disappointed by the differences in what was promised and what was delivered. And in hindsight I would not of booked and paid the premium prices charged by Leela Cottages. But what was worse was their attempt at "customer services" towards the situation. I spoke about my unhappiness on the second day of our stay, and we were told by the receptionist they would speak to their senior and get back to us the next morning. No one did. This continued until our fourth and final day when eventually that night we reached a "resolution". But not one we feel was justified or are happy with, but no one seemed to care. And upon checking out they asked 'did you enjoy your stay?' Like they had completely forgotten the last few days! On a separate note they claim to be environmentally friendly, by not using straws to reduce impact etc. But we saw a member of staff throw beer bottles over the fence onto the beach to "clean" the sun lounger area for guests. This is not the actions of a place that cares for their surroundings. This is resort is completely style over substance! They did not back up the stylish exterior with the level of service expected when paying a premium price. ... More

    NOT WORTH IT...avoid it if you can

    Let me tell you from my humble experience .....please dont go to this place if you want luxury and fun, this resort is situated in the most secluded place on earth ...also the amount charged per night was way too high and absolutely did not live up to our expectations ,though the staff were friendly and nice and beach in front of the resort was very beautiful ....so take my advice seriously... More

    Not worth it. AC was not working properly. A major let down.

    Pros - The location is great, secluded. They need to correct it in Google maps. It shows to turn one lane before. The staff was very polite and helpful. The view and beach were perfect. It can be a perfect place for a lazy getaway from city, noise, and crowd. Cons - AC was not working properly which was irritating due to the heat. Even after continuous complaint, it was not taken care of. Do not expect such a response after paying for a relaxing stay. Cleanliness was another issue, the smell of dog-poop at the lounge chair area by the beach. There was no room service and no coordination between the restaurant and the Hotel. It was a disappointing stay made tolerable by the hospitality of the staff members and staying out of the place. Basically, also not having an option because of no refund available.... More

    Excellent Cottages!

    We visisted Goa in July'17 during peak monsoons and chose to stay in a quieter part of Goa for 2 days. Leela Cottages was all in all a good experience. The Cottages were pretty good, it was very quiet and serene admist the palms. Cottages are decorated very nicely with the old distressed furniture giving them a heritage look. However keep in mind while planning to stay that 1) each cottage has two single beds which are joined to make one & 2) restaurant has a very very limited menu.... More

  1. Guest must be over 18 years of age to check-in to this hotel.
  2. As per Government regulations, it is mandatory for all guests above 18 years of age to carry a valid photo identity card & address proof at the time of check-in. Please note that failure to abide by this can result with the hotel denying a check-in. Hotels normally do not provide any refund for such cancellations.
  3. The standard check-in and check-out times are 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may also be chargeable by the hotel. Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed to and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation. No refund will be applicable in case the hotel denies check-in under such circumstances. If you have any doubts on this, do call us for any assistance
  9. Any changes or booking modifications are subject to availability and charges may apply as per the hotel policies.

  6. The total price is inclusive of all applicable taxes.   7. Hotels may charge a mandatory meal surcharge on festive periods e.g. Christmas, New Year's Eve etc. All additional charges (including mandatory meal surcharges) need to be cleared directly at the hotel.
  8. Some hotels may require guest(s) to furnish a valid photographic proof of identity in original at the time of Check-in. Kindly carry the same along with you to avoid any inconvenience. The following documents are recognized for this purpose: Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence, Passport or Election Card.
  9. Note PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.
  10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
