One of the best 5star resorts I hv stayed in. Beautiful ambience with really lavish rooms. Rooms r really spacious with every modern amenity. Every room has space in front where u can sit and hv breakfast with a mesmersing view. The pool is beautiful. The resort has a really calm n serene atmostphere away from the hustle n bustle. Service is really good. The food is just too good over there. Breakfast variety is huge. Highly recommended for people looking to stay in the lap of nature with ultimate luxury.

I booked a room for the date of 30th sept, but due to bad weather conditions, getting to the resort was dangerous so i cancelled the booking. Now they are not refunding my amount or even giving me an extended booking time period, they literally just ate my money. Also they questioned me abt how could i cancel my booking wothout consulting with them first. Furthurmore, their staff is very unprofessional, i had to call again and again despite they said they were gonna call to discuss the matter. Just horrible experience and surely this is not upto the standards of a 4 star resort.
Nice property but should not advertise itself as eco-friendly. It definitely isn't

Among the millions of hotels that have mushroomed along the banks of the Beas over the years making Manali a hideous concrete jungle, La Ri Sa is one. However its perhaps one of the better hotels in the region offering great service, wonderful location , set as it is in the midst of an apple orchard and also some peace from the Manali din.
However La Ri Sa gets the average rating because it misleads everyone into thinking its eco-friendly. It isn't. If you still use disposable plastic shampoo bottles etc and provide packaged plastic water bottles you contribute to a mountain of plastic waste in a week. And creating that in an ecologically fragile region as Manali surely unconscionable.
Furthermore for a eco-friendly property you need to recycle water. Which La Ri Sa doesn't. Nor does it harvest rainwater. You also need to USE solar energy-not just have solar panels installed on rooftops. For the duration of our, stay- 2 nights- there was beautiful sunlight but the hot water was supplied via the electric geysers in the bathrooms.
What was also ironic was that being an apple orchard property -with the harvest underway- they served us packaged juice ,which is just a nice name for sugar syrup- both as a welcome drink and for breakfast.
Amazing romantic retreat

Was looking for the most romantic place to go around Manali and as soon as I spotted the pics of this beautiful hotel established in an apple orchard, surrounded by green mountain I didn't doubt it.
Honeymoon package and premium suite booked, what came after was an amazing experience. I think we can only call out that the food could be improved, particularly the Indian one, but overall the staying was great.
Staff is very attentive and they offer all the services needed.
If planning to go be aware of the weather when reaching through the Kulu airport, which is the closest one, and if risk of cancellation go for Chandigargh instead despite is a 7-9 hr roadtrip to Manali.

It was the memory made true with family holidays while visiting the Manali and we were stuck with the resort's beauty and the beautiful surroundings of Apple Orchid. Beauty of Manali can maximize your stay.
