Superb and quite location Our room was very cozy and cute. The bathroom had everything we needed. The staff were very polite and interested. The grounds and pool were excellent, and the design makes it feel like you were the only ones there.

We booked the family suite and fell in love with the charm, the decor and the authentic vibe of the place. The staff was ever so helpful and prompt, the kitchen warm and inviting, the homely breakfast more than welcome and the decor was just fabulous. The kids enjoyed browsing the books and looking at the fish tank. It also helped that we had the entire place to ourselves the three days we were there. The owners are passionate hosts who have left no stone unturned in ensuring guests have a delightful B&B experience. Comparable to some of the best BnBs we've stayed at IN THE WORLD and that's saying something! Highly recommend and can't wait to be back!
One of my most memorable stays in Goa...

Tucked away in Sangolda is this little gem of a place that we came across on MMT...and boy, am I lucky that we did!
For starters, the place is beautiful...although renovated into a B&B, the house still maintains some of it's old world Portuguese charm and it does not disappoint in any way...!
Coming to the staff, right from the manager to the chef, all of them were friendly, polite, and very helpful. I would like to especially mention Maria, the manager at Lar Amorosa, who was very friendly and helpful and made sure our stay was confortable and without any hiccups. Also, the owners of the place were friendly and personally interact with the guests, which makes the experience all the more personal. Also, I would like to mention Deepika, the chef, who is awesome at what she does and the breakfast that she used to make for us was just lovely.
The rooms are spick and span and hygiene wise, I have no complaints at all.
So, if you're looking for an experience living in an old Portuguese house with lovely people around you...I would definitely recommend this place...over and over😊
An excellent Portuguese homestay with modern facilities

We stayed here for 3 nights and it was a wonderful experience. The owner personally attends to all guests and take care of everyone's needs - we experienced hospitality at its best.
This is an old Portuguese house beautifully restored into B&B, with attention to details to everything one expects or needs for a comfortable stay.
The breakfast/food served is also really good - I did not miss the taste of home made food during my stay.
I would love to come back again.
