Not worth recommending

The only good aspect of Lake view is its good room size and location, rest everything is very average.
Room service is pathetic. After struggling for half an hour on the phone we finally had to go to restaurant to confirm our order for 6 people and received the same only after and hour after 3 times clarification. Heaight was nect day after lunch when at 3.30pm they told us lunch cant be served but we can have snacks. As it was raining heavily we had to eat there so we ordered maggie at 3.35 pm. We were assured it will be served within no time. Waiting patiently we saw driver coming in with packets of maggie at 4.00pm and at 4.30pm we were served "most unedible soupy" maggie. At dinner we were only 2 and ordered in d room and were served stale food.
Clean and Spacious

Been there in January with my family. The hotel rooms were spacious and clean. We had buffet food. As a tea lover, I didn't like tea as well as coffee. Also, while booking this hotel and after seeing the images of other reviewers I thought of waking with a lake view from the room. But at that time I was very disappointed. Hotel is situated a few kilometers away from the market area as well as in a peaceful area. So, you can have quality time with your loved ones.
They have a Swimming Pool, Aquarium and Playing area so you can play, rest, enjoy, and pamper yourself.
Food was nice.
Will definitely recommend this place.
Best view in Lonavala
on Sep 11, 2018
This place has undoubtedly the best view of the Lonavala monsoon lake. The staff too is very helpful. The food at the hotel is excellent. The location is perfect as it is not too far from the market at the same time aloof from the noise of the market.
An average destination at best

The lake view resort at Lonavla offers breathtaking views allegedly. However when I went it was nothing spectacular.
The rooms are adequate and food services are average.
One of the many small wannabe resorts in Lonavla.
Lousiest hotel in Lonavala
on Oct 3, 2017
Visited with my family in September for 2 days trip (First time). Price of the room was INR 5K per night. Pathway was too small. Room allocated was really horrible. So stinking. Beds were not at all good. We reached at 2.30 p.m. They told us about their rules that by 2.30 lunch time was over. Still, they told us that, they will prepare and serve in the room. We received the lunch and ended up eating worst food ever in life @ INR 1500 for one lunch alone (5 items). We could eat only 50% of it and paid 100%. Fortunately, we paid only for one night. Luckily we got family room in a different hotel and decided to vacate the place at 8.30p.m. with our differently abled son. I fairly remember the in-charge name (May be if I am right he is Richard - Looks decent. But, not a reliable person). That guy is inherently a liar. While booking itself, i checked with him regarding availability of lift for taking my son by wheel chair. He told us that lift is available. (Lousiest lift i have ever seen. Even certain govt. institutions will have better lift than this). While vacating, he made a drama that i did not spoke about my son's commutation way or otherwise he (Richard from Kerala) would have made some alternative arrangement. Inspite of knowing the losuiness of his own hotel, we conveyed very decently that we are not comfortable staying, that idiot again spoke to us about rules "We have to give a day intimation for vacating and then pay one day additional room rent". We told him not to continue the argument (He kept continued)and vacated the hotel with great pain (Having spent huge amount of 6500 within 7 hours). This is a real experience of mine. Fortunately, by GOD's grace we got an excellent family room in main area of Lonavala and moved. My tag line is Hotel Lake View Resort-Lonavala is meant only for companies and bachelors - Meeting, Partying and enjoyment. This hotel is TRULY NOT SUITABLE FOR FAMILY.
