Wonderful and quite paradice spot
on May 14, 2017
It is definitely a hidden paradice, in the end of the most beautiful beach in Goa and on the real mangrove touching the river in which you could get a dip while chilling at the place. Amazing menu and ambience!
Tranquillity and a place to reconnect and see a different Goa
on Apr 23, 2017
I stayed here for 2 nights in February - a solo female traveller who was looking for some time away from London. I came down from Palolem where Thibault, the manager had helped arrange a transfer - all brilliant and easy to organise.
Upon arrival, there was a whole team to greet me and show me to my "tent". They are beautiful. Compared to some of the beach huts up in palolem, this was absolute luxury. The decor, space and light was amazing. I wish I could pick up the outside bathroom and bring it, and the view home!
The river, birds and trees were amazing and a great departure from the beach huts. Thibaults Mother was staying at the time, and provided excellent conversation and company.
The day sun beds provide the perfect place to relax and soak up the atmosphere, and where wine, drinks, snacks could be ordered - all YUMMY! (The breakfast that was included was amazing)
One of the best things, was the free bikes that you can take down a couple of km to Galgibaga beach where there is next to noone around, beautiful scenery and food!
I will totally be coming back :)
A heavenly haven

This place is a real retreat. Thibault, the manager, has created a calm, welcoming, relaxing and echo friendly environment that feels like stepping into another world considering the popularity of Goa. We enjoyed chatting to him about how his vision came about and from my first booking, he couldn't be more helpful and considerate.
His staff also understand what he is trying to create and are respectful, very helpful, non invasive and friendly - being there when you need them but being seemingly invisible when you don't! And the food....YUMMY!! Delicious, home cooked soul food.
We weren't quite prepared for the athletic entry and exit using the Tipi doorway (just meaning that you need to crouch down quite a bit) but this was due to our lack of experience with this type of accommodation! As with most guests, we were a little apprehensive about the composting toilet but there was no smell and the fact that the private bathrooms are outside and have no roof added to natural feel of the whole place.
Turtle beach, which is nearby and a short bike ride away, is also calm and serene with Santosh's beach hut there to provide cool drinks and tasty food.
What a wonderful weekend we had. We returned to Bangalore (where we live) feeling refreshed and revitalised.
La Mangrove Goa
on Mar 24, 2017
La Mangrove Goa is a special place. It's location on the river, just a few kilometres from Galgibag Beach, is serene and beautiful. The accommodations are all eco-friendly and extremely comfortable. Thibault and Maud's attention to detail is seen throughout the grounds and within accommodation tipis. They are truly concerned about the quality of their guests' experiences.
There is s genuine interest and concern that each guest is happy, settled, and receiving exactly what they need. Everything is clean and fresh. The nightly ritual of showering under the stars is wonderful (each tipi has private bathroom/shower).
There is a delicious and varied menu cooked up by a talented chef from the north-eastern city of Darjeeling. There were no disappointments - only the desire to return there for our delicious evening meals. The staff is discreet and attentive - they are happy to accommodate the wishes of their guests.
We will be returning for sure. Lovely, quiet, fun!
Relax, renew and revive

What can i say? luxury in a mangrove area.
we are staying in a tepee with a king size bed, electricity, a fan, lights galore, warm bedding and space! each tepee has its own outdoor shower and toilet which is nearly screened off. There are only 4 tepees on the site so it is intimate and personal
Outside is stunning. The site is on the river (which you can swim in). There are big day beds under a canopy to lie on. Raj and the team make great fresh juices and the food is great. The reason the food is great is because the owner (Thibault) is french and brings some simple food standards with him! The menu caters for all tastes - taste the aubergine curry or the thali - amazing!
There are bikes you can borrow to cycle to the beach or you can hire mopeds or an enfield motorbike! the nearest beach is Turtle Beach which has nesting turtles. Visit santosh bar for a cold beer.
Totally worth coming here for some quiet adult time.
