    Hotel management is horrible

    The hotel is in a narrow lane and getting a car inside during busy day hours would be a challenge. It is about 400m from the main road/Karol Bagh metro station and one has to cross a series of small market shops to reach it. So just be aware about that. I had booked, and paid in full for a deluxe room through Cleartrip and the room description clearly mentioned it as an air conditioned room, since I had made sure of it. I had even called the same evening I booked and talked to a lady receptionist who had picked up the phone and confirmed my booking and the AC room. However, reality turned out to be quite different. When I arrived on my travel date in the evening, the male receptionist told me that my booking had been rejected by the hotel and they have said as much in am email to Cleartrip which he showed me. His email mentioned something like “Booking rejected by us. We are sold out for these dates” but I did not see any acknowledgement from Cheartrip to that effect. He said that he does not have the room to give me and I must “upgrade” to super deluxe if I want a room to stay. He also said that the room I had booked was a non-AC room when the room description had clearly mentioned it as an AC room while booking and which I had confirmed over phone. When I asked and complained why I was not intimated and refunded if the room was cancelled, he bluntly said that it was between Cleartrip and me to sort it out and they have no part in it. It felt quite shocking in the moment to being blatantly defrauded and getting treated with no concern. All my protest was to no avail. I finally agreed to pay extra money and take the upgrade for my stay since I had to check in and go out in the evening and was tired from my travel to search elsewhere or discuss anymore since it felt of no use with this guy. The hotel still had my original payment to Cleartrip with them since he did not ask me to pay that part. So I was wondering how come he still has the money if he had rejected the booking. The room itself seemed quite different from pictures on Cleartrip and was nowhere super deluxe as was expected after the upgrade. There was no window in the room and you have to live in artificial light all the time when indoor. The bathroom was okay but could be much better. There is a lot of noise at times on the property as well. They have multiple Wifi’s running but the connectivity is not consistent all the time. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone based on hotel management’s behaviour and room quality.... More

  1. Guest must be over 18 years of age to check-in to this hotel.

  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation.   11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
