Very cheap, quiet area, good service

My daughter and I stayed at Khandela 3 nights and it was a decent guest house. We arrived late at night and it was a bit difficult to find the actual entrance to the guesthouse ( had to wake up some neighbours to get them to show the entrance). Rooms are spacy and somewhat almost clean ( no cleaning under the bed). Note that electricity outlets in bathroom is right next to shower .. so we didn't turn on the lights as my daughter got a small chock one day turning on light on wet floor. Owner is very serviceminded, informative and available at all times. We expected the roof top to be 'operational' but aparently in the low season they don't have chairs and tables at the roof top. Hence one could only eat breakfast in the lobby inside the guesthouse or in your room. The guest house is located in a very quiet neighbourhood but still only 10-15 min walk to Pink City (or 5 min by tuk-tuk). The guesthouse is great value for money (very cheap) and it served it's purpose.

The staff is very friendly and will try to help you in any way they can. Good location, very close to train station and not to long to walk to Pink City.
Hot water all day, although pressure could be better.
Really good food that they make themselves.
All in all a good stay for a cheap price.
Homely place to stay with great host

We stayed at the Khandela guest house for 2 nights and had a really pleasant stay. It is great value for money and in a good location within Jaipur. The host mr Saleem is one of the nicest people you could hope to stay with! He is friendly, welcoming, helpful and more than happy to share his knowledge of places to visit and things to do in and out of Jaipur. Nothing seemed like a hassle to him, no matter what time of day and he takes great pride in his cooking (which is amazing!). Thank you Saleem! We hope to stay again soon :)
Friendliest Guesthouse in Jaipur
on Nov 22, 2017
We can't recommend this place highly enough. The manager, Saleem is one of the friendliest Indian men we've encountered. He is a man of many talents and will help you with absolutely anything, cook you the most delicious food (try his parathas for breakfast and you will not be disappointed!), make chai for you at any time of the day, and help with things like getting a SIM card, wearing your sari correctly 😂 and suggesting places to visit within, and outside of Jaipur.
The hotel has everything you need. Good location, wifi, hot water, clean, comfortable and spacious rooms, a rooftop terrace. We loved sitting up there watching the sunset and drinking chai.
If you're coming to Jaipur, definitely stay here!
