Just returned from 2 weeks at the Keys Ronil. I'm not sure why some reviewers don't like the place.?? We loved it. We stayed in room V17 which is overlooking the small pool. Great shower and and bathroom. The A/C was brilliant and there was a ceiling fan as well.We didn't like the breakfast but it catered for mostly Indian tastes, but not a problem there are loads of cheap places selling breakfast. We used to go to Reddys bar for breakfast. It's in a very central position on Baga Road. Over the road from the famous Tito's Lane.We even organised a deal in the bar for us as the ale is a bit pricey. Half price!! The whole hotel is spotless, room was cleaned well. All in all it was a great experience for our 1st holiday to Goa and we will return next year to the Keys Ronil.
Best location hotel for calangute and baga
on Jan 15, 2020
I stayed here in December last week. The location wise this is best you can ask. I paid almost double because of Christmas week hence I feel not worth what hospality I got. But otherwise with their Normal days rate this is best if you want to stay near calangute or baga.
Pool was clean and maintained. Breakfast was average but not bad. Rooms and bathroom were old but they were clean.
I would recommend it 100% if you get good deal.

Near to Baga beach. Walking distance. The room is old with only a new color nothing more. The staff is very helpfully. The food is ok. Necessary to improve. Fewer amenities for high pay. Overall 2.5*.
Liked the location

Keys is an old property. Badly needs a renovation. We stayed for 3 days in a deluxe room. Room is spacious but had a challenge with the AC. House keeping was prompt and good. Breakfast spread is ok. Overall I liked the location, just 2-3 minutes walk to the Baga beach. Not many smiling faces around :)
A quaint hotel which has seen better days, in a great location

The property looks old and run-down. The room we stayed in was alright, since everything was working properly. The room was spacious and the towels and linen have seen better days. Since we did not spent much time in the hotel, did not matter much. It is walking distance to Baga beach and all the happening shacks and pubs. There are two pools in the property, small but functional. The staff service was basic, though they did not go out of the way to make our stay comfortable, whatever request we had was taken care of. We had a hard time with parking our car, since the parking lot is limited and is mostly filled with two wheelers. The security staff really helped a lot in finding parking space for us, but for one night we had to park our vehicle in the near-by pay and park. The breakfast spread was also pretty basic and the taste was just okay.
