No good for a female solo traveller

When I arrived I was welcomed by some of the member of the staff that, I have to say, they kept high level of professionalism through out my stay but about others ...they started to go to far and one of them entered in my room with the excuse that had to bring me towel and started to approach me to close, as soon as I shouted he run away. My fault, I was too friendly probably but this episode repeated with another one, whom I did not repeat the same mistake.
The bed sheets were a bit dirty, I slept on top of my sleeping bed. I stained 2 nights, I should have moved but my time in Udaipur was so short I didn't want to waste in hotel hunting.
I stayed outside a lot and locked in the room.
You can find better with same price

Owner of place was really nice, other guys, who were hanging in there were little bit confusing and we were not sure that were they working there or what? Also many of the other guys claimed to be owners, so it was pretty confusing.
Also when we agreed room price, they didn't tell us that there will be 10% extra for taxes. That felt unfair, cos nobody mentiontioned that to us, just when we paid our bill.
Also one evening we asked the guys to buy a beers for us, and we wanted premium, which they said, they can't get, ok. Then they said strong beer will be 200rs/bottle, but finally, when we got then, they announced that those were 240rs/bottle. After we just felt that we were screwed. Sadly, cos the owner was nice and fair.
Room was big and clean, with hot shower. Location was also good.

Kaveri is a nice and cheap hotel to stay in the center of Udaipur.
It's located in the heart of the city where most of the restaurants and attractions are but still this place is very quiet.
Nice staff very helpful and kind. The view from the rooftop is far to be the best in Udaipur however you see the palace and the lake.
We really enjoed our stay here. Thanks

We booked two nights in the hotel . We were happy that they gave room in the early morning around 5 where it was dam coool.... We were totally annoyed with issues there . There was children screaming in the corridor and when my friend explained this with parent they were not listening and when we went to manager he was very reluctant and he didn't even pay his attention . And the main problem was he didn't bother much since my friend is a westerner. He thought that I won't understand Hindi since I was from south India . I felt really bad with their thoughts and idea . If you ever have a westerner friend with you don't ever go to that hotel but apart from that manager is helpful tooo . He helped us to get bus tickets (saying that he is helping since am an Indian. ) Though I was happy in receiving the help I was sad since he had a partiality in his mind .
Best value for money in Udaipur.

Excellent location, friendly family, large and clean rooms. Wi-fi wasn't working when I was there, but should be by now -- the owner gave me a discount because of this. I'm a budget traveller (200-300 rupees a night), and this is one of the best rooms i've had in India at this price. Highly recommended :)
ps - if it looks closed, just knock on the door!
