    I am writing this review as a Warning to anyone reading it. The hotel is a fraud, a cheat and a pathetic excuse for hospitality. It only cost me roughly Rs.1000, but sometimes, for another person's sake , it is better to alert travelers through a feedback. If I had more time, I would have taught this 3rd class hotel a lesson in person. Now, they will learn automatically how one loses business. A) I want to ensure that everyone reading this is aware of this pathetic establishment, and that it costs them incremental business for Room nights. One of the biggest red flags is when you enter a hotel and within the first 5 mins, their sub standard staff tries to con you. 1) In a booking done from YATRA.com,airport drop was included. The idiotic manager acted smart and said that Rs.200 GST needs to be paid ( based on other customers feedback ,I was prepared for this ). Told him to call yatra and check it. I myself called yatra in parallel ,and by that time he realized that he can not deny me the service. It was his test to check when a customer will back down. He CONFIRMED that at 3am next morning I will get a wake-up call a cab will be available. The next morning a new manager ( uneducated and brash) denied everything and asked for Rs.200 again. I told him to speak to the earlier manager, to which he showed no interest. The sad part is that I can imagine other helpless people being forced to pay the money due to lack of options and desperate to reach the airport. I had an inclination that they will do this in the morning This 3rd class establishment had the audacity to confirm the airport drop the previous evening, and then create nuisance early next morning. ( I had a flight to trichy , a taxi already booked to vist some UNESCO sites and a return flight back to chennai - total expense of roughly Rs.6500) . If I had been dependent on their " 3am wake up call", it would have been a blunder. I had already spoken to an auto guy expecting these cheats to stoop to this level. Paid 100 to the auto guy and reached the airport. 2) The room given was probably the worst I have stayed in for the past 3-4 years ( and I stay in alteast 30+ hotels in a year). It was warmer than the corridor of the hotel. With the fan on, you would still be sweating. Their strategy was to charge more in case a customer wants to shift to an AC room. When I asked them to check if another non Ac room is available, they denied and told me to open their little window! I had also checked with goibibo - they had 5 rooms available for booking at 7.30pm the same night !! I wrote a complaint to the OTA from the airport at 3.40am, expecting a 100% refund. The main intent was to make sure that KEK hotel does not earn a single rupee out of my booking. And that they will think twice before attempting this with any other customers. Hopefully ,any traveller will be aware of a similar situation in the future, and be prepared to handle 2 bit hotels like KEK.... More

    Old, worn out hotel that didn't honour advertised free airport transfer

    Hotel is old and dilapidated - no water in the room. Booked through Expedia who confirmed free airport transfer - but they charged me INR 200 each way. Surroundings busy streets. Thought it would be convenient for a night between flights.... More

    Not a Pleasant experience

    From start of stay we had issues. Let me list it out - 1) One of light was not working. After multiple complaints they fixed in front of us making the place dusty. 2) TV/setup remotes hardly work, Not maintained at all. 3) If u are getting extra beds then BEWARE - they give the thinnest mattress made of coconut scrap.And on complaining gave a torned shabby mattress which we returned and on asking why u charge the lamest response ever heard was "Beds are complimentary and we dont charge for it, the charges are just for extra person". 4) "BREAKFAST" Complimentary is another false note. they give anything only one plate and not unlimited. 5) They claim its free "DROP" to Airport but the driver asks money upfrontly and we are left with no other option than to pay him....     KEK Accomodation is a Budget hotel, The rooms are neat, they provide basic amenities such as TV, Geyser and in room service. Rooms are Good slightly smelly at beginning. Wi-Fi internet free Parking is available in front of the hotel. ATM is available in front of the hotel. Mosque is available in about 2 blocks.... More

    Good Arrangements for Site visit in and around Chennai

    I had booked this hotel when my friends from USA had arrived. The Hotel Management took care of the entire arrangement from cabs to visit Mamallapuram, Pondy.. They even had the stay at Pondy arranged through their partner hotels... Very friendly and polite staff!!... More

Situated in the heart of the city, K E K Accommodation Airport Hotel is one of the business hotels in Chennai. This hotel is easily reachable from the Pallavaram Railway Station, which is 1 kilometer away. The hotel comprises 18 guest rooms equipped with modern amenities. Few of the conveniences included in the room are television set, comfortable bed and attached bathroom with the facility of hot and cold running water. Policies
  1. Guest must be over 18 years of age to check-in to this hotel.
  2. As per Government regulations, it is mandatory for all guests above 18 years of age to carry a valid photo identity card & address proof at the time of check-in. Please note that failure to abide by this can result with the hotel denying a check-in. Hotels normally do not provide any refund for such cancellations.
  3. The standard check-in and check-out times are 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may also be chargeable by the hotel. Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed to and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation. No refund will be applicable in case the hotel denies check-in under such circumstances. If you have any doubts on this, do call us for any assistance
  9. Any changes or booking modifications are subject to availability and charges may apply as per the hotel policies.
Booking Policies

  2. The primary guest must be at least 18 years old to be able to check into this hotel.
  3. The hotel reserves the right of admission. Accommodation can be denied to guests posing as a couple if suitable proof of identification is not presented at check-in. Goomo will not be responsible for any check-in denied by the hotel due to the aforesaid reason.
  4. Child policy apply which may vary from hotel to hotel.
  5. Failure to check into the hotel, will attract no show charges as per Hotel policies.
  6. The total price is inclusive of all applicable taxes. However, it does not include additional personal expenses like telephone charges, meals that aren't a part of your meal plan, any hotel services you use (like laundry and room service) or tips.The hotel will charge you directly for these when you're checking out.
  7. Hotels may charge a mandatory meal surcharge on festive periods e.g. Christmas, New Year's Eve etc. All additional charges (including mandatory meal surcharges) need to be cleared directly at the hotel.
  8. Some hotels may require guest(s) to furnish a valid photographic proof of identity in original at the time of Check-in. Kindly carry the same along with you to avoid any inconvenience. The following documents are recognized for this purpose: Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence, Passport or Election Card.
  9. Note PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.
  10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
