    While planning for Goa trip, we, a group of 43 senior citizens had booked this resort in advance. The package was worked out in such a manner that it included all 3 meals( breakfast, lunch and dinner), transportion for sight seeing on daily basis, apart from pick up and drop facility from the railway station. The rooms are comfortable and cuisine was normally good. Free wi fi was allowed within the premises. They took good care of us and made our 3.5 days trip to Goa, enjoyable and memorable. ... More

    Unfriendly staff with just average but clean rooms

    We booked Joia Da Mar for almost 3700 per night (Breakfast excluded). The only positive thing was that the newly renovated block was clean and tidy. Even though it gave a feeling that without the right upkeep, it will soon be on its way to deterioration The negative aspects were that the staff was cold and not very welcoming . They should smile a bit more , especially when you can expect truckloads of people during the peak season. They were also very ‘pushy’ about checking out by the exact time by first calling us in the morning and then sending the staff knocking on our doors. Didn’t knew we were going to a military academy as usually most hotels are comfortable with a 20-25 minute relaxation Last but not the least , no security at the premises during night time and the hotel doesn’t owns the responsibility for any damage or losses in the car park . Also, swimming pool’s water needs to be less chlorinated and a lot more clean . Dead ants floating in the pool is not done ... More

    Great Hotel with trained staff..

    I had on holiday there for 4N/5D with 2 delux king AC rooms .... Rooms were offered just beside each other which i needed.. Thanks for it . specially thanks Vijay bhai who taken care of us very well .. Rooms services was fast and superb. all staff behaved well .. Food was awesome yummy .... They served which we want ... Superb service . Delicious breakfast ..... Love it .. All over amazing experience with great location hotel .. Again i want to stay there when ever i will come to goa . strongly recommended to friends, family and others .. Thanks... More

    Detoriating standards

    Have stayed at this hotel for atleast four times, sadly what was once a great place has now detoriated to quite a low standard. The staff is overall ok, I find the restaurant staff cooperative. The room which I had earlier stayed in the month of May was having a broken bathroom tap handle and a main door with a lock which did not lock. Plus there are frequent electricity cuts in Calsngute area. The reception manager Mr Vijay has a rude behavior ready for any client who points out the above mentioned points and gives flip answers like"jaguar fittings are similar everywhere... They falloff and it is ok if you are given a room without a working lock...he calls you a pesky and irritating client who is not welcome at the hotel, in case you decide to complain about the above mentioned points. Swimming pool is dirty... So beware before booking in this hotel.... More

  1. Guest must be over 18 years of age to check-in to this hotel.
  2. As per Government regulations, it is mandatory for all guests above 18 years of age to carry a valid photo identity card & address proof at the time of check-in. Please note that failure to abide by this can result with the hotel denying a check-in. Hotels normally do not provide any refund for such cancellations.
  3. The standard check-in and check-out times are 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may also be chargeable by the hotel. Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed to and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation. No refund will be applicable in case the hotel denies check-in under such circumstances. If you have any doubts on this, do call us for any assistance
  9. Any changes or booking modifications are subject to availability and charges may apply as per the hotel policies.
Booking Policies

  5. Failure to check into the hotel, will attract no show charges as per Hotel policies.
  6. The total price is inclusive of all applicable taxes. However, it does not include additional personal expenses like telephone charges, meals that aren't a part of your meal plan, any hotel services you use (like laundry and room service) or tips.The hotel will charge you directly for these when you're checking out.
  7. Hotels may charge a mandatory meal surcharge on festive periods e.g. Christmas, New Year's Eve etc. All additional charges (including mandatory meal surcharges) need to be cleared directly at the hotel.
  8. Some hotels may require guest(s) to furnish a valid photographic proof of identity in original at the time of Check-in. Kindly carry the same along with you to avoid any inconvenience. The following documents are recognized for this purpose: Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence, Passport or Election Card.
  9. Note PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.
  10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
