    A luxurious experience

    To start off, the look of this hotel is breathtaking especially at night and oozes grandeur. I stayed here for a bit more than a week. Location: Not too far from the airport and from DLF IT Park, Manapakkam where I had to visit for work. Quite a central location. The room was quite spacious, had interesting room automation such as controlling of lights, temperature at the press of an iPAD button. Stayed in the executive wing. The hotel had wings for Tower and serviced apartments as well. Nice big TV, comfortable bed, bath tub and separate WC and bath. Nice toiletries from Wills. The interiors are well designed and grand. The gym and swimming pool were very welcoming and well stocked with equipment and TVs. Used the gym for the duration of the stay and was happy with the machines and the instructors. They have 2-3 gyms. They have multiple restaurants. The buffet breakfast was really sumptuous and had a good spread and live counters. Enjoyed the filter coffee and local fare among other things. The Mercara Express offered a relaxed ambience (with a sports channel on) with a good choice of drinks and food. Tried another restaurant (Peshawari, I believe) which served good North Western Frontier fare, and you can see the chef's do their magic separated by a glass partition while having your meal.Good ambience again. Staff is pretty courteous and helpful, although I can imagine that they would have to cater to a lot of guests, so sometimes request for things like coffee sachets etc in the room may take a while. I must mention a Mr Udit who gave personal attention when I went to have my breakfast and dinner, which was welcome. Else with many guests, one may very well get a bit of a mechanical experience. The grounds themselves consist of the driveway and didn't much of a garden/park to explore or relax (based on what I could find). Although there was one which was just outside the gate.The signage could perhaps be improved at least to help the cab drivers etc to locate the appropriate entrance, as although there is one main gate, there are multiple entrances to the hotel. So overall a memorable and very relaxing experience, however I would request them to be clear on their policies especially on early check-ins, as I had to deal with a bit of confusion on that and had to follow-up a bit to get things sorted (more or less)....     High Tech room with spacious bathroom and luxurious amenities The atrium level with the pools was amazing A most interesting fact about the hotel is they truly are eco- friendly : they generate so much power, recycle their waste- they mean what they say about being conscious. Impeccable service. I would be remiss if I did not call out the special attention that we got from Habeeb. He went out of his way to make us comfortable. He not only co-ordinated the receipt of multiple packages I had shipped by courier ahead of my arrival, he also got us medicines that were required urgently. Lastly he helped book cars and taxis flawlessly. Thanks Habeeb for everything you do to make the guests feel at home !!... More

    The concierge could get pretty much anything as well as suggestions of sight seeing & arranging medicines for us , Especially Mr. Nathan and Habeeb from concierge really there were helpful.we had a wonderful room overlooking the city. Overview

ITC Grand Chola is one of the best hotels in Chennai. It is roughly 8 Km from the domestic and international airport. It has 600 guestrooms, suites and service apartments, of which 522 are guestrooms and 78 service apartments. Complimentary newspaper, tea/coffee maker, complimentary laundry services (4 pieces), and butler services are offered by the hotel. Wellness facilities like Kaya Kalp - The Royal Spa, three gyms and swimming pools are present in the hotel premises. A host of other services offered by the hotel include 24-hour currency exchange, travel desk, medical assistance, safety vaults and mini-bars. The hotel is Wi-Fi enabled and has a business center. It has 10 food and beverage outlets that serve a variety of cuisines. Guindy Railway Station is 1 Km; Little Mt. Metro Station is 1.7 Km, and Halda Bus Stop is 450 meter away from the hotel property.

  1. Guest must be over 18 years of age to check-in to this hotel.
  2. As per Government regulations, it is mandatory for all guests above 18 years of age to carry a valid photo identity card & address proof at the time of check-in. Please note that failure to abide by this can result with the hotel denying a check-in. Hotels normally do not provide any refund for such cancellations.
  3. The standard check-in and check-out times are 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may also be chargeable by the hotel. Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed to and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation. No refund will be applicable in case the hotel denies check-in under such circumstances. If you have any doubts on this, do call us for any assistance
  9. Any changes or booking modifications are subject to availability and charges may apply as per the hotel policies.
Booking Policies

  2. The primary guest must be at least 18 years old to be able to check into this hotel.
  3. The hotel reserves the right of admission. Accommodation can be denied to guests posing as a couple if suitable proof of identification is not presented at check-in. Goomo will not be responsible for any check-in denied by the hotel due to the aforesaid reason.

  6. The total price is inclusive of all applicable taxes. However, it does not include additional personal expenses like telephone charges, meals that aren't a part of your meal plan, any hotel services you use (like laundry and room service) or tips.The hotel will charge you directly for these when you're checking out.
  7. Hotels may charge a mandatory meal surcharge on festive periods e.g. Christmas, New Year's Eve etc. All additional charges (including mandatory meal surcharges) need to be cleared directly at the hotel.
  8. Some hotels may require guest(s) to furnish a valid photographic proof of identity in original at the time of Check-in. Kindly carry the same along with you to avoid any inconvenience. The following documents are recognized for this purpose: Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence, Passport or Election Card.
  9. Note PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.
  10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
