    Stayed 4 nights and really enjoyed it. Quite in October but very good all round. Pool still warm enough to swim, beach bar and cafe open. Sea nice and warm and clean. Food very good with excellent choices if half board. Feel it would be very busy during high summer but nice at this time. Would not hesitate to go there again... More

    Perfect place for a relaxing holiday

    My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our week in Hotel Le Palme. Loved the location and the peace and quiet. A couple of minutes saunter through pine woods onto the Lido which was set on a great beach. Lovely food at lunchtime. Really reasonable prices and a great place to watch a sunset. The hotel staff could not have been more welcoming or efficient; they all obviously take great pride in their work. The food was varied, beautiful and plentiful both at breakfast and dinner. Great swimming pool and surroundings. Impressed with the five-star cleanliness everywhere; the toilets and showers in the Lido and around the swimming pool were spotless and looked as good as in the hotel. We were there in October so I have no idea what entertainment they have earlier in the year but there is a small disco and table tennis near the pool. In short, couldn't fault it. We wouldn't hesitate in returning. If you want formal you will get formal, if you're more gregarious you will feel as though you have made new friends. Thank you all for a great holiday.... More

    Wonderful holidays

    It took us a while to write but finally today we will write a review- it is us group of 11 friends from Poland :-). The big family. The first minute we entered the restaurant and we met Rafal the restaurant Manager we knew we would have great time and felt like at home :-) . The staff in restaurant- Mario, Mateo, Rafal and others were great and so helpful. After few days they knew our names, they took care of all of us and served so delicious food- typical Italian very sophisticated meals. The dishes looked and tasted great. The meals were a great experience. Real a la carte menu - even though it was full board. We would like to thank you all for wonderful time we had in this hotel. The hotel is clean, you can always find a deckchair at the swimming pool, the beach is so close and the atmosphere was amazing. We miss all of you and we hope to see you again. We promised we would come back to your hotel in twenty years but maybe we will come back earlier. We recommend the hotel to everyone- you will not regret it. But remember it is a very secluded place, no shops around (the nearest one is 10 minutes walk), very quiet and excellent to take a rest. Once again thank you for great time we had there.     We booked this hotel at very short notice having read the TripAdvisor reviews and not knowing the area. We only needed to stay a couple of nights. The hotel has ample parking and is in close proximity to the beach. The reception staff were very friendly indeed I found all of the staff to be professional throughout. We’d ordered a double room and for some reason arrived to two singles. The pool area was spacious and we were the only people using the sunbathing facilities the majority of the time. There were signs around the pool (and a notice in our room) making clear that you must not use the pool without acquiring a swimming cap from reception (why?!!??!!). I found that very weird and off putting. There are tennis courts, a play area for kids, a bar area (inside and out) and a restaurant for breakfast which is also available for an evening meal (we didn’t use it for the evening meal but it looked as though people had to make their choices at breakfast time). Look, there was nothing wrong with this hotel (apart from the swimming cap rule!), but equally having walked around the area and visited some local restaurants I can’t help but feel there are better hotels in the area, either because the others are less dated or they just generally have more of a personality. The hotel was fine, but I’m a little staggered by some other reviewers high scores tbh.... More

    Stayed in Paestum (but not at Le Palme) for 10 nights in Sept '17, and sorry we only found this place on the beach two days before returning home. Friendly, helpful staff (not easy with 4 Brits that spoke no Italian!!), great food and low prices. Had specials both days we visited. One was roast beef and potatoes (that we can't comment on as we opted for pizza), the other was a pizza, cake, coffee and a beer deal for €7 each. Highly recommended if spending the day on the beach at Paestum... More
