    The photos look a LOT better than the reality. We were really disappointed with our room (211). No veranda, not one picture on the walls, no lights by the bedside, not even one glass/cup in the room, no tissues, no toilet paper holder, no elevator, no help with the luggage up two flights of narrow stairs, no napkins on the table in the restaurant, no milk served with the coffee at breakfast, walk through an ugly parking lot to get to rooms, a clinking noise from the wind chimes in the restaurant all night long, no instructions in the room for the TV (and I'm not a dummy, nor am I tech-challenged)!     We have stayed at this hotel about 4 times in the last 5 or 6 years. It is not a fancy place with every amenity under the sun at your fingertips. However, what it is, is comfortable, clean, on the beach and unbelievably convenient. The Puerto,Morelos town square is about a half block away, there is a brand new Chedroui grocery store across the street and plenty of good restaurants are within easy walking distance. The hotel is now open under new management, and the difference in staff, attitude and maintenance is evident everywhere. Everybody working there was kind, helpful and looking for ways to say yes. We had booked a room through an outside source which messed up the reservation. We need to be on a ground floor. The response of Bianca at the main desk was “let’s see how we can fix this”. She then proceeded to do so. This attitude remained universally present during our entire stay. We will be happy to return again.... More

    Great Budget Hotel in Puerto Morelos

    I was a little hesitant to stay here after reading the reviews but it turned out to be just fine. We try to fly at night when we stay at the resorts in the area. We grab a hotel in the city so that we can get up early and head to the all inclusive resorts. This place was perfect for that. The staff was nice and friendly. It was easy to check in. The room was fine for the price. The AC worked which is about all we needed. No issues with the bathroom or anything else. The beach is great. This hotel would be perfect for someone wanting to explore the town of Puerto Morelos. Even though we only stayed one night I would not have a problem staying longer. I would stay here again. Completely safe and secure. They also have the new grocery store right across the street. The prices on tequila are about 1/2 anywhere else so stock up.... More

    Some good, some bad.

    Excellent location, charming building right on the beach with a nice pool. Restaurant/bar staff very friendly and attentive. Francisco (Frankie) and Roberto, also one more but didn't get his name.This hotel needs some work on amenities though. No fridge, coffee maker, or water bottles in room. We had to buy a cooler and ice.Towels were sparse in room and none for pool. You need to use your room towels and then exchange them for your shower. We had 2 towels, a hand towel and face cloth. We used the hand towel and face cloth, they disappeared when the room was cleaned and we were left 2 clean towels for shower. Nothing else provided so when you wash your hands, you need to use your shower towels.There were 2 glasses in our room that we used on the first day and although we stayed for 3 days, they were never replaced with clean glasses. The water went out at least twice in one day for a few hours which was very inconvenient. I went to the front desk at 6am to advise there was no water and was told they had to restart the pump. No water till around10 am so not sure it was wise for them to keep the restaurant open for breakfast. We went back to shower around 5 pm and go out to dinner and the water was out again. Time to buy a new pump and quit restarting the old one. I was told they are under new ownership so hopefully they will resolve some of these issues. I love this area and visit frequently.This was my first stay at this location and I was hoping it would be a new favorite.... More

    The kitchen runs with overflowing bathrooms in the restaurant

    I am not a picky traveler. I expected the type of room I got. The beach was wonderful. I expected renovation projects. The waiters were friendly. What I didn’t expect was to have the water go out in the night (due to a failed pump for the cistern) and the hotel not respond, except “just thirty more minutes.” After several hours of this, we checked out of our room because it was unusable. However, they had restored water to two other floors, and so we were told we could use the bathroom in the hospitality room and continue to use the beach and pool. However when I went to use the bathroom, there were two men doing renovations and the manager told me I was not allowed to use the toilet but I could shower there. I asked her what toilet I could use and she told me I could use the one in the restaurant. I went in and the bathroom was completely unusable. I went back to the manager and told her, and she said, “well the one in the middle wasn’t so bad the last time I looked.” I said no. She said “well you have to understand we are trying to make up for the past administration.” Obviously, that is not an explanation for why the current administration cannot handle a sanitary emergency. ALSO they didn’t close the restaurant when they had no water and piles of feces in the restaurant toilets. We checked out immediately.... More

Booking Policies
  1. The standard check-in time is 12 PM and the standard check-out time is 12 PM. Early check-in or late check-out is strictly subject to availability and may be chargeable by the hotel.Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  2. The primary guest must be at least 18 years old to be able to check into this hotel.
  3. The hotel reserves the right of admission. Accommodation can be denied to guests posing as a couple if suitable proof of identification is not presented at check-in. Goomo will not be responsible for any check-in denied by the hotel due to the aforesaid reason.
  4. Child policy apply which may vary from hotel to hotel.
  5. Failure to check into the hotel, will attract no show charges as per Hotel policies.
  6. The total price is inclusive of all applicable taxes. However, it does not include additional personal expenses like telephone charges, meals that aren't a part of your meal plan, any hotel services you use (like laundry and room service) or tips.The hotel will charge you directly for these when you're checking out.
  7. Hotels may charge a mandatory meal surcharge on festive periods e.g. Christmas, New Year's Eve etc. All additional charges (including mandatory meal surcharges) need to be cleared directly at the hotel.
  8. Some hotels may require guest(s) to furnish a valid photographic proof of identity in original at the time of Check-in. Kindly carry the same along with you to avoid any inconvenience.   10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
