    They have in their wisdom tried to replicate the old colonial building that was gutted in a fire. It is an imposing structure with a big lawn and enough parking space. The rooms are too big and serve no purpose. Service is good, but leaves something to be desired. The menu is limited but food is okay. In all our two night stay was comfortable.... More

    Avoid the regular rooms

    We stayed in Peterhof for two nights on 18th and 19th June 2017. The place was good, they have a huge lawn, which adds to its attraction. We loved the location, the food was good, staff courteous and rooms were okay, old, probably needs more maintenance. Here are however some points of discomfort that I would like to share: 1) We wanted the cozy deluxe room, but due to non availability we had to take the regular double bedded room for 18th night. These rooms are located in the ground floor and what I found disturbing was that entry to these rooms (we stayed in room no 110 on 18th and then room no 215 on 19th) are through a very circuitous path with very narrow corridor. The entire pathway had only one exit and near the exit was a kitchen in full action (the hotel lawn was hosting a marriage on 18th June and there was a banquet whose food was being cooked in that kitchen). The corridor lacked any fire safety mechanism and in the event of a fire spreading from that kitchen in the ground floor there is simply no way of clearing the guests. At least I did not find any. Management and guest should be aware of this. I did ask the hotel employees regarding the fire safety measures, unfortunately they could not give any specific answer, instead just said everything is taken care of and this hotel caters state guests so we should not be worried. Next day we stayed in the cozy deluxe room which was on the first floor and entry and exit paths were better. I would like to raise the question that it is indeed true that in case of any fire hazard the state guests will surely be taken care of and also may be guests in other rooms, but it is absolutely impossible to rescue those in regular rooms, especially because the kitchen is just at the exit way of the narrow corridor that leads to the regular rooms. 2. The lawn is publicized by the hotel and supposedly can be enjoyed by guests in the hotel, but the management hosts local parties and banquets on that lawn rendering it useless for the guests in those days. I think, the management should have some ways to let let the guests know of all such parties, giving the guests an option to decide if they want to stay in those days in the hotel. We found it annoying, specially there was loud music, hotel staff were busy and it was disturbing the tranquility of the place. 3. Another disquieting fact that I would like to point out is, on 18th night we went to the restaurant for dinner and the wait time was almost 55 mins to 1 hr. All because the restaurant staff were busy catering 3 state guests. This was highly unprofessional attitude from the staff and not expected from the hotel! 4. We were first assigned regular room no 105. It was very shabby and needed maintenance. Please avoid that room. In general avoid the regular rooms.... More

    Very homely and comfortable stay

    One of the best HPTDC property, Peterhoff will profide a very comfortable stay. The view from the balconies are mesmerizing, food tastes really good although it is a bit on an expensive side. The hotel has preserved the antique architecture, with a kind of classic interior but with a little lack of maintenance. As a demerit the hotel is a bit far from the Mall road which if ignored makes the place really good for stay.... More

  3. The standard check-in and check-out times are 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may also be chargeable by the hotel. Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed to and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation. No refund will be applicable in case the hotel denies check-in under such circumstances. If you have any doubts on this, do call us for any assistance
  9. Any changes or booking modifications are subject to availability and charges may apply as per the hotel policies.

  10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
