    TERRIBLE, and we're easy going backpackers!

    After traveling on a tight budget for almost a year we are at the end of our 2 months in India and this is the WORSE hotel we have ever stayed in. The first room was okay expect for the raw asbestos that was covering the water heater and dust was flaking onto the ground (also with chords potentially exposed to water from the shower). So we asked to move to another less deadly room. The manager was annoyed to say it lightly. The owner was rude. We moved across the hall to an extremely filthy room. The manner was very angry and said 'NO MORE MOVING OKAY!' The room: *the bottom half of the for rotted away *unclean toilet with top missing *unclean walls and floor and sink *smelt like poo, urine and mould *mould above the bed *unclean walls and for in room *the cord to the tv was broken and posed electric shocks if plugged in *Again the wires to the shower were a potential hazard. We both had nightmares and couldn't breath during the night. We were planning on staying another 1-2 nights but couldn't sleep another night in this room. They manager said we were lucky to get the room, it was a good room, excellent room and they could clean it for us. (But the door needs replacing, the room smells like urine and mould) he said open the window, which of course we already had... NB. These photos were taken after we asked the to clean the room....     we visit there in a month of January at that time there was heavily snowfall, at that time no hotel was providing water . those were providing water they were costly , then we found this hotel and this was in our budget . Good place to stay and average in facilities . but view outside the hotel is good . ... More

    Staffs and food are good. Service provided by just dial. Room remarks can be varied from room to room, mine was average one. But it was not satisfactory according to my pay. If you're paying around 1k per room then it should be well maintained.... More

    Pathetic rooms: a. Doors of the rooms were improperly repaired with holes causing freezing wind to enter inside. It was unsafe from security reasons. b. Also, bathroom basins were broken. c. Bathroom doors were having holes. d. The electricity wires were going through the floors making it extremely hazardous! We wanted to change the rooms, but as per the hotel manager no other rooms were available. We even wanted to change the hotel, but were assured next day would be given a better room. The next day we were given another room. It had leaked basin with water directly flowing under our feet through the bathroom floors. Even, the bathroom flush tank was broken. Will not recommend this hotel to anyone.... More

  3. The standard check-in and check-out times are 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may also be chargeable by the hotel. Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed to and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation. No refund will be applicable in case the hotel denies check-in under such circumstances. If you have any doubts on this, do call us for any assistance
  9. Any changes or booking modifications are subject to availability and charges may apply as per the hotel policies.

  8. Some hotels may require guest(s) to furnish a valid photographic proof of identity in original at the time of Check-in. Kindly carry the same along with you to avoid any inconvenience. The following documents are recognized for this purpose: Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence, Passport or Election Card.
  9. Note PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.
  10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
