    I know they say you get what you pay for, well my advice would be okay a bit more and stay somewhere else. Room smelt really bad, was very dirty and I was over charged. So if you want a good night's sleep it would be best to go elsewhere.... More

    151 rupees per night as additional tax

    Staff is nice and kind. But they added 151 rupees per night in our bill. It was more than 19%! The room was 770 rupees and we ended up paying 920 rupees!!! So if you book hotels consider it! Sometimes it’s cheaper to pay another one! Wi-Fi doesn’t work properly; We stayed at the room upstairs and the air con stopped working and we had to move at 11 pm to another room. To tell you the truth it was not fully working; Breakfast is just 2 toast and chai. ... More

    Very Dissapointing and Untrustworthy

    We had never been to India before and didn't really know what to expect, we arrived at the hotel and had arranged a transfer from the airport which all went fine. The hotel itself was nothing special, we stayed for a few nights and each night was very cold with no hot water. The owner of the Hotel ( Sonny ) was what made us think that the place was better than it was and he explained how hard it was to get around by ourselves in India and put together a plan for us to visit the golden triangle and Varanasi while we were in the north. We explained that our trip was last minute and our budget was very important while we managed to reduce the price first offered for the tour which included, transport, hotels and guides (with no guide in Varanasi) the price was at the very max of our budget and we were a little dubious that it would all work out ok. During our tour around the golden triangle we made diversions to the standard cons, silk factories, marble warehouses and the like... which we had experience in other countries so knew how to blow them off, this didn't stop it being annoying and eating into our time. We had to pester Sonny for our train tickets to Varanasi as we were told we had to print them out which wasn't great and were told that the trains could be a little late ours in total was around 14 hours late to arrive and our point of contact (arranged by Sonny) said that he had been waiting the whole time and expected a tip, he met us again the next day and despite us telling him the night before and messaging Sonny to make sure he understood he set us up with a guide which we didn't ask for. In short while we were there we were taken to a money exchange called RP Travels and Handicrafts centre as no ATM's would work and were scammed for a substantial ammount of cash taken from my card without me knowing. I was very upset when I discovered we had been scammed as we were recommended the money exchange by the guide set up by Sonny. I spoke to both him and his contact in Varanasi to try and get our money back to which they promised they would find a way to get it to me in Goa. They had been to the shop, got some of my money back and told be to go to a western union (which cost me a big taxi fayre in goa) I waited for an hour in a western union for the oney to be transfered to be told that couldn't be done within the same country. The discussion went on throughout my time away and Sonny said he would find a way to give me the money they had managed to get back and has continued to promise over a month after this all happened. I still dont have my money and have gone out of my way, paid to get to places and have been more than reasonable to ask for him to transfer the money via western union or paypal now that I'm back in the UK as he tells me he has tried to bank transfer and is unable. I'm at a loss on what to do and don't want others to get scammed in the same way... overall we spent alot more money by going with Sonny and got ripped off too.... More

  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
