    My stay in Hotel Victoria was very nice

    HOTEL VICTORIA I Booked through GoIbibo App... Checked on 5th Aug 17 early morning... They allowed for early check in, as I had informed then in advance... Check in formalities were quick... Got the Room in second floor... They maintain the card system for entering in to the rooms. Room had been well prepared with clean blankets.. the rooms here have centralized AC system, with individual AC control in each room. They had kept hot water kettle and I saw tea sachets over there.... they had kept regular drinking water... but I did not find mineral water bottle as many of the hotels do... the room was looking grand and with the smooth AC, I felt comfortable... bathroom and toilet were kept clean... all the toiletries were kept over there.... I did not use their Free WIFI , as i found my mobile data was good enough … Breakfast started at 0730 AM. Though the varieties were not widespread, whatever they provided was enough and good... there were cut fruits, fruit juice, coffee, bread and Jams, butter, and South Indian items. there was semia upma, Idli, vadai, freshly prepared Dosai etc,... Coffee and tea were kept with sugar Cubes / sachets... overall satisfying breakfast.... there were power cuts on that day. during power cut the room card (key) was not working. when I informed them, immediately the staff came and corrected it... it never happened again ... I stayed on 5th and 6th August... Overall, I felt happy and felt safe... overall very nice experience for me. Would like to visit again. thanks.... More

    i stayed there for a night and 2 days this month. positives are: just opp to railway station food options available a lot as it surrounded by so many hotels ranging from budget to 5 star ones look was nice room neatness and amenities are good negatives: ac was centralized one and not up to the mark as they mentioned, even though complained not rectified. separate charges for single and couple stay wifi is not not up to the mark...     Located in the city centre, very close to the Egmore station, this is probably the only good thing about this property. The foyer has probably been recently refurbished, but thats where the good parts end. The first thing i noted about the hotel was a very strange smell all over the place, i couldn't place exactly what it was but was rather discomforting. Internet is free but very slow. Rooms are pretty small, bathrooms are old and dated. Upholstery in dire need of an upgrade. There is a restaurant cum bar located in the lobby and it can get pretty noisy in the evenings, not ideal for enjoying a dinner with family. Food is decent and service is quick. I would look for other options close by, if available.... More

    Pathetic rooms. It look like a road side lodge from inside. service was pathetic. A lady was shouting at the reception that some staff got into her room using keys while she was sleeping inside. had to check in this hotel as there were no other hotels available... More

Housing a total of 50 centrally air-conditioned rooms, this place also offers conference rooms namely, Royal, Kennet and Senate that can hold upto 25-150 delegates. Hotel Check-in Time is 12 PM, Check-out Time is 12 PM.

  1. Guest must be over 18 years of age to check-in to this hotel.
  2. As per Government regulations, it is mandatory for all guests above 18 years of age to carry a valid photo identity card & address proof at the time of check-in. Please note that failure to abide by this can result with the hotel denying a check-in. Hotels normally do not provide any refund for such cancellations.
  3. The standard check-in and check-out times are 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may also be chargeable by the hotel. Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed to and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation.   10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
