    This hotel is centrally located in ooty(Charring cross). It is just 500 meteres from charring cross signal. The hotel is a value for money for those who are looking for a budget hotel with good accomodation and facilities. It has a good reception and wifi facility to all the floors and TV in each room.Though it has a dine in restaurant, we never tried since the rates are very high for veg items. Those who are looking for southindian breakfast and meals, certainly it is not the restaurant. If you are really a good food lover then there is restaurant called Adyar Anandha Bhavan(A2B) in commercial street (10 mins walk from hotel venus) where you will get mouth watering south indian dishes with awesome taste. This restaurant is open from 7.30am till 10.30 pm in the night. If you don't want to compromise on food then this is the restaurant for you. If you want filter coffee in ooty, nowhere you can get it except from Adyar Anandha Bhavan. The hotel is arranging cabs (swaraj mazda van) for sight seeing in and around ooty for a fee of Rs.200/- per head if you are interested to go as a group(minimum 10 to 12 persons). You will get hot water (not only from the geyser but also from the wash basin and from all the taps from 7 am to 10 am in the morning and from 7pm to 10 pm in the evening) The rooms are good and clean.     The place is okay to stay overnight and continue the trip. Hot water is not available round the clock, only for a few hours in the morning and a few hours in the evening. Room looked nice, although it was quite cold at night. The blanket (or rather bed cover?) was heavy and without any bed sheets. The view from the window is to the crowded street, so you can't actually open the curtains and have some privacy at the same time. Food was very good, special requests were taken into account when they were cooking the food for us.... More

    We were there on 18th Dec afternoon. Worst food quality, worst attitude from staff. They don't allow card swipe though they have machine. They try to cheat us by entering wrong amount in bill. Overall its a Terrible experience. I am writing this review only to to save you from this hotel.... More

    We took the suite and it was good. Rooms were nat and tidy. There was a small aquarium, TV and some beautiful dim lights. The view outside was not good. The bathroom was not so clean and there was no 24hrs hot water. Hot water was only for 2 hrs in morning. Overall a good hotel for budget of 2.5k. ... More

    The staff does not know how to treat women guests. Located in a travel destination like Ooty a washroom is a basic requirement. When I asked for 1 was directed to the drivers washroom outside the vicinity. And later when I express my dissatisfaction they seemed to just ignore not even bothering to apologise.... More

Please note that failure to abide by this can result with the hotel denying a check-in. Hotels normally do not provide any refund for such cancellations.
  3. The standard check-in and check-out times are 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may also be chargeable by the hotel. Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed to and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation. No refund will be applicable in case the hotel denies check-in under such circumstances. If you have any doubts on this, do call us for any assistance
  9. Any changes or booking modifications are subject to availability and charges may apply as per the hotel policies.

  10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
