    Below average hotel not worth the price

    We stayed in this hotel for two nights in March 2019. The room had all sorts of problems. TV, intercom, shower not working. Hot water supply in the bath room was not available in the morning at 4 AM. Since we wished to take bath before visiting temple, we had to manage with cold water. There is no lift in the hotel and the restaurant is on the third floor, so we (all 70 + citizens) had to climb stares for three floor. The complimentary breakfast was absolutely useless. The staff was neither cooperative nor responsive. Rather the cook cum waiter was out right rude. The property is also nearly one Km away from the center of activity in a corner.... More

    Could have been a way better, not near the beach!

    I booked this property through Oyo application and also advised Oyo guys to check that the check-in is smooth. But that never happened, even after the assurance of Oyo, the hotel manager was unaware of my booking and took 15 minutes to search. The rooms are good but it is not facing the beach (almost 900 metres away). Th problem with the property is that you will have to call the manager each time to get air-conditioner switched on, or geyser switched on. This creates an utter nuisance if you are staying for more than a day. There is no restaurant in the hotel and the breakfast is below average. I think one should better give it a miss.... More

    Excellent place to stay!

    Highly recommend this place!! The food was absolutely amazing! The staff were all kind and helpful even with the occasional language barrier, they did everything to accommodate us westerns visiting a foreign land. The room was super clean (which they clean daily if you’d like) and the location is perfect with just a two minute walk to the beach. Hope to stay here again and dreaming about the food until then! Sad to see poor reviews on here as this was one of my favorite places to stay in my two month stay in India! ... More

Overview

Hotel Swarna Villa is located in front of Hans Co-co Palm in Puri. The view of the lighthouse from the room is an amazing experience. It's a great place for a holiday.The Beach is just a short walk away and located just 3 km from Railway Station, 2 km from the Lord Jagannath Temple & 65 km From Bhubaneshwar Airport. The rooms at the hotel are all well maintained and contemporarily fashioned with amenities a traveler would require for a beach vacation. The rooms also come with attached bathrooms and running hot and cold water medical facilities and Room service is also great for every vacationer.

  1. Guest must be over 18 years of age to check-in to this hotel.
  2. As per Government regulations, it is mandatory for all guests above 18 years of age to carry a valid photo identity card & address proof at the time of check-in. Please note that failure to abide by this can result with the hotel denying a check-in. Hotels normally do not provide any refund for such cancellations.
  3. The standard check-in and check-out times are 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may also be chargeable by the hotel. Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed to and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation. No refund will be applicable in case the hotel denies check-in under such circumstances. If you have any doubts on this, do call us for any assistance
  9. Any changes or booking modifications are subject to availability and charges may apply as per the hotel policies.
Booking Policies

  7. Hotels may charge a mandatory meal surcharge on festive periods e.g. Christmas, New Year's Eve etc. All additional charges (including mandatory meal surcharges) need to be cleared directly at the hotel.
  8. Some hotels may require guest(s) to furnish a valid photographic proof of identity in original at the time of Check-in. Kindly carry the same along with you to avoid any inconvenience. The following documents are recognized for this purpose: Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence, Passport or Election Card.
  9. Note PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.
  10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
