Lack of coordination among staff....Spoiled my anniversary
on Dec 24, 2017
We planned our trip from 22nd to 24th of December 2017. Due to our work schedules, night was the best time to travel for us to reach Tirupathi(5 hours journey) from Bangalore. We tried to call the hotel and check if they allow early morning check-in, but no luck. We agreed. We booked it for an entire day extra, and reach the hotel around 2 a.m.
We were hungry, as we could not find anything on the way, so we tried to order from room service. There was a separate page on the menu inside the room which said 24-hour menu, which obviously means you WILL get it at any time. It mentioned dal, rice, chapati's, sandwiches(V & NV), etc. But, as we tried to order, only Curd rice & Veg Sandwiches were available out of the entire one-page menu. As we were very hungry, we had to order veg sandwich, with french fries & Ketchup. But to our surprise, they served us raw sandwiches and potato chips(instead of french fries). We had no other options than to eat it, as it was over 3 a.m.
Next morning, the breakfast was average,.after which we went to Tirupati temple for darshan. We were back by around 4 pm. We were hungry again, and the hotels coffee shop and rooftop restaurant were closed. We requested that if we could get at least some snacks, that would help too. The reception said yes to that, after confirming with the restaurant. We were very tired and didn't have the energy to go to the restaurant and eat. We called the room service dept. to get that delivered to the room, but they said nothing is available, other than bhajji, flavored rice(lemon ot tomato) and those sandwiches. I said that I have confirmed with the reception and rooftop restaurant and they have agreed for the availability of snacks items. But he bluntly disagreed. We were furious, and we had to go out to eat something. Then we had dinner at the rooftop restaurant at night, and we checked out the next morning.
My question here is, WHAT IS THE USE OF YOUR 24 HOUR ALL DAY MENU, if the items listed there are not available ??
I am not a fussy guest, and I never complain. But I had informed weeks before the check-in that the occasion for my stay would be my anniversary, and HOW WELL HAVE YOU GUYS SPOILED IT. Only the terrace restaurant "Gufha" had some courtesy, and gave good food at the last day's dinner.
I would never visit Pai Viceroy Tirupathi again, and would think twice to visit the other locations as well.

The rooms were nice. The staff was very rude.we have to call the house keeping for the toiletries. The staff is very bad. They behave like we are not paying them for our stay. The location of the hotel is good and the view from the room is also very good.
