    Poorly maintained hotel near railway station...

    Stayed here for 3 days, 1 day in AC room and 2 days in non-ac room and both the rooms were pathetic. AC room on the ground floor had a TV which doesn't work, bathroom door doesn't lock from inside, water supply is poor, it will take 15 mins to fill a medium bucket , absolutely no room service, corridor infront of the room remains pitch dark in the night, no light at all, i dining area only one person available to do all the jobs and he is also laid back, not bothered about the guests at all, complimentary breakfast consists of only 2 items, either puri-sabji or bread omlette, food quality is not good at all.. The non-ac room on the first floor is even worse, no TV, no Telephone, no tea table, if you require something you have to go down all the way to the reception to tell the staff about your requirement and in the first floor also the corridor remains pitch dark after evening, no light there at all. Only plus point is that its just opposite railway station , otherwise everything is bad here, avoid it at all cost, if one has to stay at RTDC property in Jaipur then Gangaur is better option i think......     The hotel has location, specious rooms and restaurant, geyser, ac etc...but no one is willing to maintain...toilet is very dirty...ac temp can not be adjusted...quilts were never washed...you can smell the dampness...my elder daughter caught severe cold due to musty quilts...had to administer antibiotics...when complaining...manager told about shortage of manpower...please if willing try to book rtdc Gangaur...which seemed to be better maintained....     I had a tour at Pink City Jaipur 7/11/2019 to 11/10/2019. As my faith I booked RTDC Hotel Swagatam and that was my great blunder. I took two 4 beded room (room no 210,211). When i enter into room I almost got faint. Room is totally damp ,dirty .You cant open window .window glass are wrapped with news paper. Dirty bathroom ...geyser not working,dirty commode..... .From 2nd day we had shift another room for electrical fault......that rooms also same condition. Those are moving with family dont choose this hotel. Hotel Tej or Gangur would be better.... More

    I have visited Jaipur & stayed at RTDC Swagatam on Oct'2018. I am very much happy with the facilities the have provided to us. We have stayed in AC Deluxe Room Rs. 1700/- + tax per day. Hotel is just opposite to Jaipur Railway Station . 5 Minute walking distance, Rooms are big, neat & clean, staffs are very polite , food is also very tasty but little expensive, Complimentary breakfast includes, Puri sabzi, bread cutlet, toast, Poha, Tea. There is also travel desk who provided us Car for Rs. 1700/- (including all) s/s places are Birla Mandir, Jaigarh Fort, Nahargarh fort, Amer fort, City palace, jantar mantar, Hawa Mahal, From 9 A.m-5 P.M. The Hotel Swagatam is Situated at a walking distance from railway station. The hotel has a choice of A.c /non A.c double and family rooms. There are all modern facilities for your comfort. The hotel restaurant serves a choice of Indian, continental and rajasthani cuisines. There is a provision of a.c. conference room ideal for meetings or parties. The hotel bar serves variety of alcoholic drinks, beer and wine at a comfort price. Safety, comfort, hygiene and security are basic priorities to comfort the travelers visiting us; hence making their stay with us a cherish-able one. During the stay guests can visit Hawa Mahal is approx 7 km and Jal Mahal is 5 km away from the hotel distance.

Policies
  1. Guest must be over 18 years of age to check-in to this hotel.
  2. As per Government regulations, it is mandatory for all guests above 18 years of age to carry a valid photo identity card & address proof at the time of check-in. Please note that failure to abide by this can result with the hotel denying a check-in. Hotels normally do not provide any refund for such cancellations.
  3. The standard check-in and check-out times are 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may also be chargeable by the hotel. Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed to and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation. No refund will be applicable in case the hotel denies check-in under such circumstances. If you have any doubts on this, do call us for any assistance
  9. Any changes or booking modifications are subject to availability and charges may apply as per the hotel policies.
Booking Policies

  6. The total price is inclusive of all applicable taxes.   7. Hotels may charge a mandatory meal surcharge on festive periods e.g. Christmas, New Year's Eve etc. All additional charges (including mandatory meal surcharges) need to be cleared directly at the hotel.
  8. Some hotels may require guest(s) to furnish a valid photographic proof of identity in original at the time of Check-in. Kindly carry the same along with you to avoid any inconvenience. The following documents are recognized for this purpose: Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence, Passport or Election Card.
  9. Note PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.
  10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
