    Suncity mahabaleshwar is changed name of original hotel Royal Legend. This was my second stay at this hotel, first stay was in June 2014 and we took a family suite since we were 4 adults and 3 kids under 12 yrs of age. My first experience was good as we got a nice deal for family suite and most likely due to off-season. This property is right at the start of main market, opp. subhash chowk so late night shopping or dining in the main market is easy for travellers. suite suite rooms have AC's but weather was so cold we hardly needed it although we paid for an AC suite. Again after 2.5 years we travelled to mahabaleshwar in dec 2016 and found suite availability by directly calling to hotel but they charged for 2 extra persons which was fine considering peak season and rush. We checked in to hotel and then we realized that things have not improved and infact degraded in last couple of years. Dirty linens, torn towels, broken tea cups, NO AC, dirty buckets, dripping taps in washroom. Overall this property hasn't improved much and their charges are high compared to the facility they provide. Last thing, upon asking for receipt I was told that it will fetch a tax of 14% that was not told to me at the time of booking also when the entire country is moving towards cashless economy and digital transactions they ask only for CASH if you pay at the hotel.     Do NOT OPEN THE WINDOWS

    Dont Expect much from this place. This is a low end budget hotel and there is no effort to move upscale. The Rooms are spacious but unkempt. Room Service is poor attendants are well behaved but ill informed. Dont open the windows - a strong stench of sewage would fill in the room and spoil the anyways Mediocre stay.... More

    Hi , I have stayed here last weekend (2nd Oct and 3rd oct) with my family by seeing the ratings and reviews in tripadvisor. The place is very close to bus stand but it is pathetic condition. Cleanliness ..please forget it .. Restaurant option is also worst condition. I dfinetly not recommend for any one. If you are willing to accept skin deceases and budget is the main priority then consider this hotel stay. Regards, Chandu... More

  1. Guest must be over 18 years of age to check-in to this hotel.
  2. As per Government regulations, it is mandatory for all guests above 18 years of age to carry a valid photo identity card & address proof at the time of check-in. Please note that failure to abide by this can result with the hotel denying a check-in. Hotels normally do not provide any refund for such cancellations.
  3. The standard check-in and check-out times are 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may also be chargeable by the hotel. Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed to and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation. No refund will be applicable in case the hotel denies check-in under such circumstances. If you have any doubts on this, do call us for any assistance
  9. Any changes or booking modifications are subject to availability and charges may apply as per the hotel policies.
Booking Policies

  6. The total price is inclusive of all applicable taxes. However, it does not include additional personal expenses like telephone charges, meals that aren't a part of your meal plan, any hotel services you use (like laundry and room service) or tips.The hotel will charge you directly for these when you're checking out.
  7. Hotels may charge a mandatory meal surcharge on festive periods e.g. Christmas, New Year's Eve etc. All additional charges (including mandatory meal surcharges) need to be cleared directly at the hotel.
  8. Some hotels may require guest(s) to furnish a valid photographic proof of identity in original at the time of Check-in. Kindly carry the same along with you to avoid any inconvenience. The following documents are recognized for this purpose: Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence, Passport or Election Card.
  9. Note PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.
  10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
