    worst experience ever..the staffs are frauds..rooms are very small, dirty and bathrooms are not clean..location is also very bad..if u don't want to make ur memory of shimla full of bad experiences never go there..we had to change our hotel after staying there one night..not recommended at all......     My wife and I traveled to Shimla on January 10 ,2017. It snowed to a great degree during our time of visit, and electricity plus water supply was cut off for most areas there. Being unaware of that, we went there and found the hotel location very much hard to find. Because of heavy snow fall, our cab driver left us at the beginning point of the old bus stand. My cell phone battery was out of charge, so we were also unable to use the google map. There we found some brokers for hotel, and One of them took 10 rupees from us and took us to the hotel. When we asked if there was any room vacant, the boy at the reception told us that it would take 1800 Rupees to rent one. When I told him that we had made booking beforehand with a much lower rent, he just showed us a room and asked to stay there. Due to unavailability of electricity, it was chilling cold inside the room. We went outside to have our dinner, and on our way back found that the places on the upper side of the city had electricity back in supply. When we went back to hotel to ask if there is any possibility of getting electricity back, they were unable to give any reasonable answer. There was no generator available in the hotel for emergency electricity supply. They were also unable to provide simple amenities like candles to lit up the room. After asking for couple of time, we went outside and purchased ourselves to have some light and warmth inside the room. On 11 January 2017, when Electricity came, they provided a room heater with extra charge. Though the electricity was back, the hot water supply did not work. They provided a bucket full of cold water, presumed to be ice. Only positive thing about the hotel is it is a walk away from the old bus station and the railway station and the mall area. Other than that, there is nothing special about its service and amenities. Rooms are also not kept clean, and the corner room, which was given to us, had a window glass broken and was covered with curtains, allowing the room to remain cold as a morgue. I would definitely mark this as an average hotel as far as the structure, service and amenities are concerned.... More

    The only good thing about this hotel is its location. This hotel is very near to Shimla railway station and bus stand. Though the hotel is in goid location but its hard to find. Hotel rooms are average. But main problem is that you will feel lack of privacy in room and bathroom. Only you will get water suppy in morning for 1 hour and thus you will get hot water for this 1 hour, after that for whole day you have to use bucket cold water.... More

    I stay here after one of my friends recommended about this hotel. Property is near by bus stand and i like best things about this hotel. I was staying in shimla for 4 days and travelling from public transport. Its only 1 min away from bus stand. Famous tourist place mall road is also at walking distance. There is big gurudwara is also near by hotel only. Food taste was yummy. I like there daal and roti which was best in my life. Thank you sun n snow for your hospitality.... More

    I visited shimla and stay in hotel sun n snow for four days and I feel good. Property is little old but its well maintain from inside. Room and bathroom was neat and clean and spacious. Hotel staff are also decent always ready to serve. Location is excellent just few step away from bus stand and few min walking from mall road. In food best things I like is their tea, taste was totally different. Overall it was good stay for us.... More

  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
