    Stay well away from the Hotel Staywell

    The place was a dive. The first room they gave us smelt of moth balls. The second wasn't much better. The room was dirty and never made up. Had to ask for clean towels every day. Our "city view" was a piping shaft. The staff were the rudest people ever, no manners. Filthy towels and sheets. Bathroom ceiling coming apart. Staff hanging about at all hours in the storeroom next to our room. Hairdryer nearly caught fire. Worst hotel we've ever stayed in!! Bloody awful!!! ... More

    they cancelled while we were on our way

    pm we arrived after flying from australia. arrived about 8pm. were picked up at the airport by our tour rep and taken to this hotel that was booked almost a year in advance and confirmed the day we left ... arrived to find uncaring reception. they blamed booking.com but we found out later that they cancelled while we were flying there. they didn't care at all. and had no rooms left. found out later that this happens often that hotels will overbook. found another place which was nice and friendly...     An awful hotel

    When cheking in, the receptionist tried to steal my Schengen Visa, I spent all the week trying to solve the problem with the police department and the Embassy, leaving my business a side. Very noisy hotel, everything is dirty and old. The staff is very rude and shows no respect for the client, the room service is not done without asking for it. A hotel ruled by a band of theifs and liars. Just avoid it please.... More

    Rooms Good but Everything Bad

    I am really being honest and not sure why people say Good Location and Good Hotel. This hotel has good rooms I will agree on that but beside that there is nothing good about this location. If you're a tourist from different country I wouldn't advise you to stay in this hotel or this area. There are couple of reasons and I would like to share my experience. First of all, we booked this hotel via Booking.com because somebody told my dad that it was really great place. Please be aware Google Maps can be deceiving, it is near rail station but this is one of the most crowded, busy place and on top of that people driving both ways in 1 way. There just no parking area and constant honking. In terms of location I would really suggest to stay away from central Delhi or stay near connaught place. The hotel receptionist was so eager and asking for hotel payment. It's not like I don't want to pay, if they wanted they could have asked me on first day but they were like, give some and give some later. Another things try not to book tour from hotel travel desk, it is just useless. The guy told us that driver would take you where ever you want but instead driver started recommending places and not taking us to where we want to go because traffic and driver knows the best. So everything got ruined. Wifi was really annoying because it used to last for 12 hours and had to always go to reception to ask for wifi and they would print on paper that was almost impossible to read, the ink was so faded that you couldn't even read the password. The only good things were Room and a guy who helped us RAJU. Honestly, if you want to have good time avoid this area and stay away from central delhi.... More

  2. As per Government regulations, it is mandatory for all guests above 18 years of age to carry a valid photo identity card & address proof at the time of check-in. Please note that failure to abide by this can result with the hotel denying a check-in. Hotels normally do not provide any refund for such cancellations.
  3. The standard check-in and check-out times are 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may also be chargeable by the hotel. Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed to and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation. No refund will be applicable in case the hotel denies check-in under such circumstances. If you have any doubts on this, do call us for any assistance

Booking Policies

  6. The total price is inclusive of all applicable taxes. However, it does not include additional personal expenses like telephone charges, meals that aren't a part of your meal plan, any hotel services you use (like laundry and room service) or tips.The hotel will charge you directly for these when you're checking out.
  7. Hotels may charge a mandatory meal surcharge on festive periods e.g. Christmas, New Year's Eve etc. All additional charges (including mandatory meal surcharges) need to be cleared directly at the hotel.
  8. Some hotels may require guest(s) to furnish a valid photographic proof of identity in original at the time of Check-in. Kindly carry the same along with you to avoid any inconvenience. The following documents are recognized for this purpose: Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence, Passport or Election Card.
  9. Note PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.
  10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
