    We stayed at Hotel Shivam International for three days. Place is clean and within walking distance to the nearby market, New Delhi railway station and metro station.     Did the classic "bait and switch" with rooms, ended up in a condemned building..

    Hotel Shivam looked OK, almost upscale for Pahar Ganj. But..., they did not have a room (regardless that I had booked it through booking.com, had a booking number, etc.), so they said, "We have at another place" and send me packing. It's blocks away and the most crap-hole ghetto room I think I have seen in SE Asia (and yes, I've seen and stayed in some real nightmares here). Sheets dirty, stained, sticky with sweat or oil? Bathroom had NOT been cleaned since the sixties, looked like a condemned crack house bathroom. The floors were filthy with dirt built up against the wall, looking like a road gutter. I slept on the hard marble floors where I could clean it off enough with my shoes, laid a lungi out and wrapped myself up (no way I was going to remove my clothes here!). The bed was sticky and damp (like oil or something?), floor felt cleaner. Of course I didn't sleep, just had eyes closed and could be supine for a while after long travels. They know you are stuck when you have a late flight in, so you have to accept whatever they give you or walk the dark alleys hoping someone will still be at a desk somewhere. Honestly, I should have walked away and slept on the street, on the steps of the metro station or anywhere, really, would have been cleaner than that room. Gawd....... More

    It is a good palce to stay. hotel shivam international is very near to the new delhi railway station. rooms are neat and clean. the bed very comfortable . everything i found what i was looking. the staff is veri friendly. front desk manager mr (prakash chand) given superb service. and good behaviour staff . food was tasy and service was excllent. overall stay was very pleasent. Will be always recommended to others.... More

    It's cheap place, but it's not that clean and the staff are not so nice

    Me and my two friends stayed there for one night only. It's actually not a bad place, it has a comfortable bed and a nice toilet, but it's not that clean. The only thing that bothered me the most is the ignorance of the staff, they are really not that helpful and nice. Otherwise it was a nice stay.... More

Hotel Check-in Time is 12 PM, Check-out Time is 12 PM.

  1. Guest must be over 18 years of age to check-in to this hotel.
  2. As per Government regulations, it is mandatory for all guests above 18 years of age to carry a valid photo identity card & address proof at the time of check-in. Please note that failure to abide by this can result with the hotel denying a check-in. Hotels normally do not provide any refund for such cancellations.
  3. The standard check-in and check-out times are 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may also be chargeable by the hotel. Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed to and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation. No refund will be applicable in case the hotel denies check-in under such circumstances. If you have any doubts on this, do call us for any assistance
  9. Any changes or booking modifications are subject to availability and charges may apply as per the hotel policies.
Booking Policies

  2. The primary guest must be at least 18 years old to be able to check into this hotel.

  6. The total price is inclusive of all applicable taxes. However, it does not include additional personal expenses like telephone charges, meals that aren't a part of your meal plan, any hotel services you use (like laundry and room service) or tips.The hotel will charge you directly for these when you're checking out.
  7. Hotels may charge a mandatory meal surcharge on festive periods e.g. Christmas, New Year's Eve etc. All additional charges (including mandatory meal surcharges) need to be cleared directly at the hotel.
  8. Some hotels may require guest(s) to furnish a valid photographic proof of identity in original at the time of Check-in. Kindly carry the same along with you to avoid any inconvenience. The following documents are recognized for this purpose: Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence, Passport or Election Card.
  9. Note PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.
  10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
