Comfortable and cozy

Hotel Shiv is in the heart of the city, green park is the up market area of the town, malls like select city walk are 3 to 4 km away, AIMS hospital is 1 km, South Ex is 4 Km, Delhi Haat is 2 Km every thing is nearby.
We checked in room no 26 yesterday and Generally when i booked this hotel there are lot of question in my mind
Is it going to be neat and clean property, will the rooms be spacious, hope there is no leakage in the rooms, will the beds be comfortable, will the sheets be neat and clean, do their blankets have smell
I must say this was a more then 15 year old property and it surprised me, it's was not only neat and clean but well maintained from inside, they have big rooms all were redone to brand new looks with new 32 inch TV, beds were comfortable, bed sheets were spot less and blankets were cozy.
They also serve amazing food quality, they have home style food which is tastes and not heavy at all, and that is what we look for when we are travelling
What I found the best was the hotel is run by the owners them self they live within the hotel and kitchen is watched by the owners wife herself, hence the property is too good
If you want a room with comfortable stay at good price and good food then you should stay here.

This is located in Heart of Delhi, one of the cleanest place of Delhi with calm surrounding.
Hotel manager is also good and help you regarding the place you want to visit here.
Rooms are spacious and Restaurant is just near this place, so you can try the food there which is awesome.
Dont expect too much as you are not coming again here. Stay and enjoy.
Good place in Delhi with all convenient amenities
on Sep 25, 2014
On a business trip to Delhi and Gurgaon last week, my colleagues booked this hotel at Green Park area. Located just opposite the Gurudwara and next to the metro station, this hotel has clean rooms and a good AC. The room is spacious if not very big. Being a South Indian, to my luck, I found Karnataka Restaurant just a stone's throw away from this hotel- where I relished my south Indian food.
Breakfast offered on a complimentary basis though was highly disappointing with a very scanty choice-1 small sandwich or a paratha and 2 other meagerly items + tea which is grossly insufficient. The food quality was also below the mark.
Room service and the front desk is quite good and the Manager Mr.Dinesh Singh was very cooperative. Although I feel that the hotel is a bit overpriced considering the amenities given, I will still recommend this place for 2 reasons- its proximity to the metro station, the Karnataka restaurant and also for the safety which is crucial, particularly if one is traveling with family. I will definitely come back to this hotel on my next visit to Delhi.

from the outside it looks great, but keep yourself away from this hell. And the owner doesn't give a damn about the customers. Most of the time, mousquitoes will try to eat you. And the worst thing : there are NO place to park your car !
2star ok kind of hotel

I stayed in this hotel.. The Bed room design is quite creative and looks nice.. Window AC sounds horrible.. No refrigerator in my room, but they mentioned in website.. The toilets are quite big, but not upto the mark.. old design.. No glass seperation for shower..
The serving staff are of very less quality.. They expect tips.. When i did checkout, two guys followed till the cab..
Room is spacious and nice.. Ventilation is good and have access to outside balcony.. Wifi is fine..
Aqua drinking water is provided.. If you want Mineral water, you need to pay >40Rs.. Overall its safe to stay.. They charge around 2500 incl taxes. But the for this price the facilities are not up to the mark..
