Fine for a quick bite.

The only eatery in Kattabettu (half-way between Kotagiri & Ooty).
Clean place; crowdless!
Service is decent - the waiters can converse in English, and a smattering of Hindi.
The bill-of-fare is rather unimaginative.
Idlis are better in Coonoor or Ooty.
Dosas are possibly the mainstay, along with poori-bhaaji. The dosas are soft and filling; the pooris are crisp and not oily. The "äalu-sabji" is common to both!

Listed as a 3 star hotel by Makemytrip and shown as located in Ooty but is actually 12km away. That too ghat road.
It is a simple, roadside lodge with no facilities. A major disappointment. No parking facilities.
Rude staff and not ready to serve customers. WiFi conks off at 10:30pm. Food is oily and tastes average.
The only consolation was that the room was neat and toilet was hygenic.
If visiting Ooty with family, I would avoid this place.
Best food in ooty kotagiri road

They have excellent food. The kerala parotta is yummy. You get authentic taste of food. Paneer is so soft and fresh. Never expected to get such a good quality paneer in hills. A must visit place for food. All vegetarian items are great. They have non-vegitarian too. I feel that's the only good place to eat in kotagiri and nearby.

One of the finest hotel I have stayed during my India trip. Clean beds, covers, modern washroom and lobby. Close to bus stand. Experienced like a 4 star hotel.
Food from down stair hotel is awesome and very cheap.
