    We turned up at 1am after a longer than expected bus ride. The staff were very helpful getting us a room. They went out of their way to help us find a cheap way to the fort the following day and had done some calling around while we were out exploring Udaipur. The rooms were fairly basic and slightly pricey for what it was (still cheap but comparing India here). However, in a good quiet spot with great staff. Decent WiFi is always a bonus... More

    My second visit to Hotel Savera-Decent experience

    This was my third visit to Udaipur in past four years. I had stayed at Hotel Savera last year and decided to come back this year as well. I was accompanied by my parents this time. I had already booked a room through hotel's website in advance and there were no issues while checking-in. A family room was assigned to us. I must admit that the room exceeded our expectations. It was spacious and comfortable. Three beds, a table and chair and plenty of space to keep our luggage. The room service is good. The breakfast, lunch and dinner are served in your room if you wish it that way. The food quality is excellent and price is reasonable. Bathroom was quite large as well. They also have a bathtub installed. The only problem faced by us was the non-availability of hot water after 12 noon. We were told that hot water would be available between 6 AM-12 noon as the hotel is using solar system. While its good to have solar system installed, management should also consider requirement of those guests who would check in after 12 noon. They might need a good hot shower after travelling. Non availability of hot water would be a sore experience for them. Similarly, a person might prefer to have a shower after coming back from site scenes. I had gone out to explore the city and wanted to take a shower to relax. Unfortunately, I couldn't do so due to non availability of hot water. We were also told that hot water won't be there for wash basins. This system is not available in all rooms. Quite surprising. But I wouldn't complain about wash basins though. This is a budget hotel and small niggle like this could be overlooked. The main issue is however non availability of not water in shower after 12 noon. I would advice the management to have something alternate to make hot water available 24 hours. It would be wrong to assume that a person who checks in after 12 noon won't need shower. The plus point of hotel is the location. Its close to central bus stand and Udaipur railway station. Going for site scene is also quite simple due to easy availability of auto rickshaws. Apart from the hot water issue, the experience has been decent. I would prefer to stay in the same hotel during my next Udaipur visit and hope that a solution would be found for the issue. I would also recommend this hotel to anyone who would ask for my opinion.... More

    One of the best hoteles, I ever stayed in. We went to Udaipur on a family trip, stayed for 3 days. The budget, the facilities, the staff, everything was just outstanding. The staff was very helpful in every aspect. The charges were more than reasonable. Facilities too were better than expectation, including a good room service, free Wi-Fi, and a restaurant serving quality-wise & taste-wise good food, again at a very reasonable price. The staff also helped as finding right choice about getting around, & booking various convince. Simply it was a class apart experience of a hotel stay.... More

    The only thing i can give this hotel is one of the nearest of the sightseeing. The mattress are filthy, i had to change the room twice coz the toilet wasn't working, i stayed for 2 nights and i got out really sick. There were zero air recycling in the rooms, I had to keep my room door open with the fan on to the highest to change the air. The staff were nice and polite and the reception guy is helpful with tips. I know it's cheap rate hotel, but i stayed in lower rates hotels before and it wasn't that bad. They should improve it...   4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation.   11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
