    Comfort in budget....

    Now a days, Shimla is loosing it's charm as tourist point,mainly coz of parking and traffic.Thanks HP Govt and local traffic police, who are managing everything but that's not enough especially in peak season. However, in my personal view in case anybody ,who is going with personal conveyance and have problem of traffic and parking in Shimla, they should stay on outskirts of Shimla in radius of 5/10 kms, where they will find comfortable accommodation at moderate prices. From any nearby station they can go by toy train to Shimla and can come back by train or local taxi. From last two season I experienced this and dropped to stay in Shimla local. I found 3kms away on the way from Delhi Hotel Satyam Paradise, a good and reasonable hotel with smiling and friendly staff, good food and parking.... More

    Nice hotel with spacious rooms. Spent 2 nights with breakfast and dinner package. Worth the money we spent. Big rooms with nice view Go for 1st and 2nd floor which having very good views... Don't rely on negative reviews. Highly recommended...... ... More

    Not one good thing to say about this hotel and staff. Outside our room the stairs and floor were littered with rubbish, rags, empty alcohol bottles,buckets,brooms ,a dirty mattress and a old fold up table. And it got worse. In the dining room, if you could call it that, on the servery beside a covered dish was a grey filthy wet rag, like a single bed sheet ,liquid of some sort on the floor and beneath the self serve water cooler was a bucket containing dirty water with dirty cups in it. And the back of our bathroom door was covered in stinking mould. Do yourself a favour and don,t stay here. We left as soon as we saw the state of the dining room.     Worst Hospitality - Dirty - Bad food - No room service

    It's the worst hotel to stay in Shimla. They even do not have any professional receptionist, none will be there for room service, bad smells all overs, cockroaches, fleas and many insects all over. Worst food we had is here. They don't even have any dining. They are actually not willing to serve you. The view from hotel is not good enough. It's a total waste of money. **Called to the room service and asked for a pen and paper. They asked us to go to the reception and take it by yourself. **Asked for toilet tissues which is a mandatory thing. They sent one that was used and half. ****They do not have PUSH SHOWER for toilets which may cause trouble for them who is used to use water. **Dirty bathrooms, very strong bad smells.     We had the one of the worst experiences in this hotel.The view out of our room balcony was Splendid, the food was comparatively very good, the room was clean but the bathroom was disgusting, and even the bed sheets were not clean and stinky.The worst of all was the service given by Mr Rajneesh, he is very rude and not at all cordial.Right from booking this hotel through email and calls he was unresponsive and rude, never replied to our mails and never acknowledged our Advance payment . When we were making the final payment at hotel he asked us whether we paid any advance or not , if yes show them the proof...that was very disgusting to treat us or anyone like that....so i will not recommend this hotel to anyone....   4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation.   9. Note PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.
  10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
