    3* because I didn’t have a lake view, so pay more and book a lake view room. Even so, my room was large and the bathroom was the usual plumbing challenge but I was used to bathing bucket style by this stage. Beaut garden rooftop cafe from where the view across the lake to the main part of the city including the beautiful palace is stunning. A pleasant walk to the bridge and across gets you to the centre of town.... More

    This hotel is situation in a quiet part of the town,but with easy access over the foot bridge into the main part. The rooms were ok, and once you had filled the bucket up with water ,the hot water came through. The beds were rock hard, but more comfortable than they first appeared. There are lake view rooms, but none of our group were allocated one, so I am unable to comment on these. There is a roof top restaurant that offers good views of the lake, I only ate breakfast , which was fine.... More

    The hotel is good provided you book a deluxe/super-deluxe room with lake view. Our booking was through Cox&Kings and due to some confusion, we were given standard room and it wasn't a good experience. Just for an additional 1000 Rs, it makes a world of a difference. However, the hotel manager was very considerate and helpful. The staff service is good and the food tastes excellent for an indian palate. The only drawback is lack of lift which made it tiresome for my parents to climb up and down each time.... More

    I stayed two nights as part of a tour group and found the hotel to be pleasant. Staff were helpful and the shower was hot, with very good water pressure. The location of the hotel is amazing. A very short walk across the lake into the centre of Udaipur, and a lakeside location. There is a rooftop restaurant which has great views. Breakfast was served here daily. Good wifi too.     My 2nd time at Sarovar. And I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Moderately priced hotel in the vicinity of some of the best places in Udaipur. Fantastic view. Big rooms. The staff makes you feel at home. Smiling faces, polite. Great to see women staff. Special mention of Shanta who is very helpful. Rooftop is decent. Reception is good. bhanwar singh helped a lot. Go with super deluxe room if you can afford it, it has an extra room with huge windows opening to the lake. Ground floor if you like the sound of water! Eating out is preferable. The only problem- it’s extremely noisy in the morning. The staff prepares rooms early in the morning, so there’s constant shifting of furniture or setting up buffet in the restaurant, etc. For anyone who sleeps light, or late, it can be an issue. Rest is fantastic. I am surely coming back again with ear plugs!... More

Booking Policies
  1. The standard check-in time is 12 PM and the standard check-out time is 10 AM. Early check-in or late check-out is strictly subject to availability and may be chargeable by the hotel.Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  2. The primary guest must be at least 18 years old to be able to check into this hotel.
  3. The hotel reserves the right of admission. Accommodation can be denied to guests posing as a couple if suitable proof of identification is not presented at check-in. Goomo will not be responsible for any check-in denied by the hotel due to the aforesaid reason.
  4. Child policy apply which may vary from hotel to hotel.
  5. Failure to check into the hotel, will attract no show charges as per Hotel policies.
  6. The total price is inclusive of all applicable taxes. However, it does not include additional personal expenses like telephone charges, meals that aren't a part of your meal plan, any hotel services you use (like laundry and room service) or tips.The hotel will charge you directly for these when you're checking out.
  7. Hotels may charge a mandatory meal surcharge on festive periods e.g. Christmas, New Year's Eve etc. All additional charges (including mandatory meal surcharges) need to be cleared directly at the hotel.
  8. Some hotels may require guest(s) to furnish a valid photographic proof of identity in original at the time of Check-in. Kindly carry the same along with you to avoid any inconvenience. The following documents are recognized for this purpose: Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence, Passport or Election Card.
  9. Note PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.
  10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
