    Hotel Samrat Regency is situated opposite government lift on the mall road. One has not to climb or walk much to reach this hotel. This is only plus point of this hotel. The tariff is reasonable too. But do not expect much from this hotel. Rooms are ordinary, small, old and without fresh air. Service is average.... More

    Great Location and Reasonably priced

    The main plus point of the hotel is its location. It is located on Mall Road and just opposite to lift making it very convenient to reach here. It is a a small hotel with no extra space.Rooms are situated on second floor and are small and boring. Only super deluxe rooms provide some comfort and outside view from window. I like to stay here again and again because of its location and its tariff which I feel is reasonably priced.... More

    Location is the only plus point

    We booked three rooms for a night as a stopover for our Kinnaur trip. The location is really good- It is right on the mall road just next to the tourism lift. You have all amenities and The ridge just a 5 minute walk away. The view from the balcony was good. But, the hotel rooms are dirty. The blankets are veryyy dirty. We reached quite late and asked them for a change of bedding and blankets for which they refused saying anything to be changed could be looked into in the morning. Logical- but didnt solve our purpose as we left at 7 in the morning.... More

    First of all, the hotel is located at Mall street which is the best location to have a premium look from the balcony area. You have access to every kind of store nearby from the hotel. Customer service is very good. I was staying with my friends in this hotel and we enjoyed the stay for 3 days. The staff of the hotel are very cooperative and always ready to help you in whichever way they can to explore Shimla and nearby places.... More

    For elderly persons it is the best hotel which is just in front of tourists lift. On Mall Road. Which requires almost nil walking distance . It has a bar in the same premises but run by some one else . A nice one . Good breakfast , good staff , good management . ... More

Overview

Situated amid the humdrum of the main Shimla town and located opposite the most happening street, the mall road is Hotel Samrat Regency. Offering warm hospitality are the 15 well-appointed and air-conditioned rooms to reside in. Guests can enjoy delicious dining in the open terrace area located on the first floor. It is usually used for buffets and tea parties. The hotel also serves healthy breakfast every morning.

  1. Guest must be over 18 years of age to check-in to this hotel.
  2. As per Government regulations, it is mandatory for all guests above 18 years of age to carry a valid photo identity card & address proof at the time of check-in. Please note that failure to abide by this can result with the hotel denying a check-in. Hotels normally do not provide any refund for such cancellations.
  3. The standard check-in and check-out times are 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may also be chargeable by the hotel. Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed to and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation. No refund will be applicable in case the hotel denies check-in under such circumstances. If you have any doubts on this, do call us for any assistance
  9. Any changes or booking modifications are subject to availability and charges may apply as per the hotel policies.
Booking Policies

  2. The primary guest must be at least 18 years old to be able to check into this hotel.
  3. The hotel reserves the right of admission. Accommodation can be denied to guests posing as a couple if suitable proof of identification is not presented at check-in. Goomo will not be responsible for any check-in denied by the hotel due to the aforesaid reason.
  4. Child policy apply which may vary from hotel to hotel.
  5. Failure to check into the hotel, will attract no show charges as per Hotel policies.
  6. The total price is inclusive of all applicable taxes. However, it does not include additional personal expenses like telephone charges, meals that aren't a part of your meal plan, any hotel services you use (like laundry and room service) or tips.The hotel will charge you directly for these when you're checking out.
  7. Hotels may charge a mandatory meal surcharge on festive periods e.g. Christmas, New Year's Eve etc. All additional charges (including mandatory meal surcharges) need to be cleared directly at the hotel.
  8. Some hotels may require guest(s) to furnish a valid photographic proof of identity in original at the time of Check-in. Kindly carry the same along with you to avoid any inconvenience. The following documents are recognized for this purpose: Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence, Passport or Election Card.
  9. Note PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.
  10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
