    The webportal states they have a laundry facility, room service, intercom device and many more.. However, once i checked in, the executive room with a decent discount was offered. The bell boy stood there in the room until a tip was paid in order to bring the baggage from the groundfloor to the room. The first hour of the night the bathroom bulb was flickering and when it fused, i requested to replace it which was not done until my checkout. The next day while ordering lunch, i tried calling room service at 111 but it didnt work. The room service boy came when called from the reception, who informed everything was available at that time, so i ordered the meal available in their Inroom dining menu card. The boy came again and said only puri shaag is available as the canteen from where they bring food is closed now. Dinner was full of colours. Palak Paneer had a green colour in food with even the paneer turned green. Tandoori chapati was burnt but nicely presented as it was kept hidden. Coffee was good.     Strange tittle of the review? Well blame it on two things: 1.) My sarcasm (which I am considering putting on my resume as well) 2.) The hotel staff, which stands in-front of you shamelessly, waiting for a tip (like the 90s Bollywood movies) till you either pay them or behave shamelessly and ask them to leave. Talking about this hotel, the name palace should ideally be taken off from their boards and pamphlets and looking at some of the other reviews on the internet about this hotel, its easily explained as well. I took their best room and they instantly offered me a discount (strange, since I did not ask for it) and the room was absolutely bad. The bathroom did have a fancy shower console, but in a very bad shape. Needless to mention, the foul smell that we had in the room when we entered. Cleanliness is also an issue with the hotel. Their best room didn't have good mattresses or hosiery as well. I cant comment on the food, since I ordered from outside but the chapati's I had from the hotel, were not as bad as the hotel. Overall, nothing really excited me in the hotel and there is hardly any reason for me to refer this hotel to anyone! A few more Gujarat hotel reviews coming up. Please note that failure to abide by this can result with the hotel denying a check-in. Hotels normally do not provide any refund for such cancellations.
  3. The standard check-in and check-out times are 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may also be chargeable by the hotel. Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed to and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation. No refund will be applicable in case the hotel denies check-in under such circumstances. If you have any doubts on this, do call us for any assistance
  9. Any changes or booking modifications are subject to availability and charges may apply as per the hotel policies.

  10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
