    To add a note here that before booking our stay at this place I had gone through almost all the travel sites to check the review about this hotel and in 95% cases I had observed people reviewed this hotel as bad to very bad; but I did a try and once the chose this hotel and reached and stayed there I came to know that recently in Dec 2018 the management of this hotel was changed to a new one and all those negative reviewes were related to previous management. Hence the stay this time in Jan 2019 was excellent and the recently changed management staffs were too good..overall it was a nice staying experience. the location, calmness, accessibility, amenities, politeness of the management staffs, parking space, cleanliness and the mountain view...wonderful staying at OYO Hotel Royal Park, Khandala booked through MakeMyTrip....     Non professional service, poorly maintained

    I checked in to this hotel on July 13, 2018. Most hotels allow early check in if room is available. In this hotel they will not unless you pay extra. I had requested a pool facing room at time of booking and they had confirmed my request via email, but at check-in they had no pool facing rooms, but they had an excellent alternative; a room with window facing an adjacent property of ICICI bank whose pool we would be able to see. From one corner of Room 105 given to us we could get a glimpse with some portion of that swimming pool. Coming back to the swimming pool of Hotel Royal park; it's dirty, more so the kid's section. I didn't dare entering the pool for the fear of getting infected with disease. The room was stinking and the bed and pillow linen was unclean. Fortunately, I had carried my own bedsheets. The restaurant was in a very poor condition, but there are no eateries near this place so we had to do with it. There were lizards all around. Now the most pathetic part. My package was a breakfast included one. I had asked prior to check in if the breakfast was buffet or set menu. The answer I received was "Your request is approved". To a second mail clearly spelling out that I am enquiring about buffet breakfast or set menu, the reply was "we offer breakfast on weekdays as per menu card. Buffet breakfast as per room occupancy." Since there was no time left I went ahead with the payment. In the morning without any request, tea was provided to us in room. So I called up the restaurant to enquire why breakfast was not brought and asked him to bring bread butter and omelette which was promptly delivered. On checkout I got a rude shock when they charged me around INR 275 for the breakfast. When I told them my package is breakfast included, the reception guy told me that nonveg is not part of included breakfast and I need to pay up. It seems they haven't invested in caller ID phones and delivered me tea that somebody else had ordered. Thankfully it was only a 1 night stay. Room price was INR 3300 per night.     Overall hotel infrastructure is good but Hotel staff does not know what is hygiene? Extra blanket given was very dirty, LID of dustbin was broken, table cloth of restaurant not washed for years. Charged INR 1000 for extra bed, receipt not issued, No managerial staff present at hotel, staff does not know the hospitality. Hotel and restaurant not wheel chair compliant (not suitable for old persons) Beds and bedding suitable for couples only, No seating furniture like chair or sofa in room, you have to sit bed only.     Cleanliness is very poor, requires pest control. Staff behaviour was rude. Not at all cooperative. Restaurant had a menu card but items were limited. You have to eat what they cooked, then what is the need of keeping menu card. They were charging 10% service fee for delivering food in the room which no other hotel does. ... More

Easily accessible, Hotel Royal Park in Old Mumbai Pune Highway is an ideal leisure getaway, which is close to Khandala Railway Station and 2.3kms from Lonavala.   1. Guest must be over 18 years of age to check-in to this hotel.

  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation.   10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
