    Not a Hotel but Guest House

    I reached the hotel around 9 pm and check in was smooth.The location of the Hotel is some distance from Karolbagh Metro station. As per the lonely attendant this is not a hotel but a Guest House.Very less numbers of room with medium size.No lift.Only one attendant.Free wifi. Though speed is good enough but at times disconnects.As it is a guest house only, so they only make rotis,tea etc. only in their kitchen.If you order food from their menu, they will bought them from neighboring restaurants, which became cold when you eat. Only the staff are decent enough to manage your difficulties at their limited capacity.... More

    What to say? The interior is really overdone. Filled from top to bottom with the most kitsch art ever viewed, the Rolls parked outside is the last piece of style you will observe in this hotel. Staff are nice enough, but the business lounge upstairs was deserted when I tried to use it and the room itself had air con that spat out about 90dB of sound for v little cold air. Won't be going back if I could avoid it, but I wouldn't avoid it if I had to.. ... More

    I posted a review on here last week citing the deplorable issues I had with this hotel. The manager approached me outside as we were waiting for our taxi to the airport. She showed me a video of our check in and told me that the name of the girl (who was rude and yelling at us) that checked us in (finally!) was not named Shalo. I can only attest to the fact that when I asked for her name for the purpose if discussing with the manager she wrote "SHALO" on a piece of paper. If she incriminated a fellow employee then this further proves the lack of professionalism of staff at this hotel. The manager promised us upon departure that she would "make it up to us in a future visit". If they really wanted to make amends they could have removed charge for one night of our 2 night stay. We never checked in until 1 am to begin with. To pay over 400$ Canadian in India (2 nights) for a motel quality room and non existent services was unbelievable. We had hoped for a nice relaxing environment in which to end our month long vacation. To recap: Checking in: arrived at midnight and was told no reservation (despite email confirmation). Was denied wifi access so I could provide my confirmation info. Finally, after being yelled at and basically told to leave the woman (who gave me a false name) begrudgingly gave us a room but not the club deluxe package I had reserved. I later was able to be assured that I would get the club deal I paid for but other than free wifi (which was slow) we had no other amenities. We were not placed on the club floor, we did not have access to "24 hour coffee and tea" as described, it was a nightmare trying to get the room cleaned, and we had to argue to get the "complimentary one way airport" taxi as initially they told us this wasn't part of the package (until we showed them the email) Rooms: Ridiculously small with old fixtures, a broken kettle that turns itself on spontaneously (we had to remove it from the base!) and a LOCKED mini bar! Overall Ambiance: faux tacky Romanesque decor with cheap plexiglass boxes around statues with "do not touch" signs as though the patrons are children who don't know this or aren't used to "fine" things. Pretentious use of a Rolls Royce out front behind a velvet rope. That was almost laughable. They cover it up at night with a tarp. A REAL 5 star doesn't have to pretend it has wealthy clientele. The pool area is ok if you don't mind that part of it had yellow rope around it and the staff seem to shoo everyone away after breakfast "look don't touch"! Food: we had the breakfast buffet. Choices were adequate, food was hot and the dining staff were friendly. Overall Service: deplorable and made more so by the complicated booking in/out system. My reservation said "check in at club level" and to this day I have no idea where that is! They shuffle you from one counter to another. Why does it have to be so difficult people?! Was not impressed by the attempt to apologize as we were leaving. They were abundantly most interested in clearing their co workers name more so than trying to gain our business back Overall: If shiny objects and general tackiness appeal to you, if you've never actually stayed anywhere truly luxurious and don't know the difference, and if you are a local and not used to higher standards then this place might appeal to you. I would recommend to US, Canadian and European visitors and business persons to check out the plethora of better hotels on the same road. If we hadn't been so exhausted and ready to fly home we certainly would have changed. Worst $400+ (Can) we spent in India!... More

    This hotel is below par in comparison with other hotels of same budget. Staff behavior is very rude here. Rooms and washrooms were not maintained at all and needs a complete overhauling. Service is also a let down.... More

Located near to the market, this 2Star hotel maintains 20 super deluxe rooms across its three floors.   3. The standard check-in and check-out times are 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may also be chargeable by the hotel. Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed to and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation. No refund will be applicable in case the hotel denies check-in under such circumstances. If you have any doubts on this, do call us for any assistance

  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
