The worst stay ever!
on Oct 4, 2018
I had booked 2 rooms at Casa Royal for my parents and in-laws, who are in their 60s. I have never regretted anything this bad. They could not stay for more than one night. The staff were so inhospitable. The whole place looked more like a brothel than a guesthouse. The staff were not attending to the guests. The rooms were not well kept, with used bedsheets stuffed in the cupboard. Drinking water was not provided. The stairs were damaged. My father fell down and injured his knee, and the staff were not in the least bit apologetic about it. They rather picked up a fight over the phone when we complained via MakeMyTrip customer care. I had to find a decent guesthouse on such a short notice, and move all our luggage there which caused us all quite a lot of tension and inconvenience ruining what otherwise would have been a memorable trip.
I would warn anyone planning to book their stay here, especially if you are travelling with aged people or children. The staff and owner (Sanju and Aman respectively) were outright rude and insisted that my father was at fault for using the stairs!
Thanks to MakeMyTrip for hearing our complaint and processing the minimum refund we could get. Though we had booked for 3 nights and stayed only 1 night, they charged for 2 nights (1 as penalty!). I would suggest this place be blacklisted and removed from any travel websites who consider themselves to be credible.
Budget Hotel... Casa Royal Bed & Breakfast
on May 27, 2017
We booked the hotel room through Oyo Rooms and pre-paid...the location was close to the place where the meeting was to be held and importantly Guaranteed Early Check-in (6:00 a.m.) was offered without any additional charges which suited us as we were arriving early...Free Wi-fi and breakfast was part of the package..however, breakfast on that morning was charged in lieu of early check-in..On reaching the hotel...the caretaker at the reception initially indicated that no room was available and we should contact Oyo; however on re-checking one room was available...decent room..clean bathroom...clean towels...Window AC, a bit noisy..a refrigerator prefilled with Mineral Water, Soft-drink cans, juice, and a few snack were available...all on payment basis..the room was clean although the bedsheets would require a change in the near future..breakfast is fixed..Stuffed Parantha with Curd...good stuff...we had lunch also...it appears that they order out and a menu card bearing name of some eating place is available in the room...food was good...decent portions...spicy..packaged thali was also available...food takes about 20 minutes to deliver...The elevator is available and works properly...serving staff is decent. The location of the hotel is good and close to market..Tax (Ols/Uber) / Auto is readily available..Recommended for a short stay.
Very unprofessional, Smelly rooms, AC running on one constant temperature!!!!

when i checked in the room was so unkept and smelling of cigarette, that we had to ask for another room. The next room i got was little better but the AC had no temperature control settings. Even a bottle of water was charged at Rs 40/- in the room. In total a very BAD experience
Great value for money

Conveniently located close to Nehru place metro station, nicely maintained boutique hotel with well done rooms. Breakfast is also good. Stayed here for a week and it was worth every penny. Will highly recommend this.
