    We had 4 nights here and were looking forward to time in the peaceful gardens, which are beautiful. Unfortunately for us the garden was hired out for 2 days/nights for a wedding so it was very noisy at night and unavailable to guests.( We love Indian weddings but perhaps an email to let guests know would have given us the option to change.) We felt a little underwhelmed with the hosts helpfulness, and felt a bit like we were an inconvenience. The room was ok, perhaps a little tired. We travel a lot and had higher expectations.     This is centrally located in a good neighbourhood. The homestay seems to have about 10+ rooms in two floors. We stayed for 2 nights; initially on the ground floor and the then moved to the first floor. All rooms are of the same decent size and open to a corridor that opens to the garden. There are tables & chairs on the corridor where you can sit and relax in the evening. However, the rooms and especially the bathrooms are begining to show their age. One room had a slight mouldy smell. The owners are quite friendly and make you feel comfortable. Overall, a nice little place in the heart of Jaipur.... More

    We stayed in shahar palace 4 nights.The owners Mrs. & Mr Singh are very nice,kind and helpful.Rooms are very clean and beautiful,garden is also very peaceful.I can come back to Jaipur just I can stay here again.Staff is also helpful and friendly. We loved the breakfast here.And their son Fateh Singh helped us book trains,arranged cars and rickshaws for us and helped so much.... More

    Neat & Clean basic set up , our room was just across the garden which gave complete home like experience , Colonel Uncle (Owner) is very interesting person , lovely chat with him over his experiences made the stay all the more interesting. He arranged auto guy for us who helped us in exploring us the all major palaces in Jaipur Place doesn't look like as if we are in a city , spacious , clean , worth every penny.... More

    As promised this hotel is an oasis of calm amidst the madness of Jaipur!!Our hosts went out of their way to make us feel welcome, even inviting us to join in the family celebrations for Fateh's wedding. They offered plenty of advice on places to visit and eat, and arranged for Shahid to take us wherever we needed to go in his tuk tuk. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with housekeeping every day; food and drink was good and very reasonably priced. A great experience, and can't wait to return next year to explore more of Jaipur... More

  3. The standard check-in and check-out times are 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may also be chargeable by the hotel. Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed to and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation. No refund will be applicable in case the hotel denies check-in under such circumstances. If you have any doubts on this, do call us for any assistance
  9. Any changes or booking modifications are subject to availability and charges may apply as per the hotel policies.

  9. Note PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.
  10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
