    #Date of stay: 16.10.2018 to 18.10.2018 (2 nights). #Family Trip (Myself with parents). # Location: Excellent. 10 mins auto/cab from Ooty Rail station, Charing Cross ~3 mins, Rose Garden ~20 mins, Botanical Garden ~20 mins. #Rooms: We had booked a four bedded room on 5th floor. Room condition was very much satisfactory with neat & clean bedsheets, towels. #Services: Some cons here. 1) Lift is available from 2nd floor & four bedded room was located on the 5th floor. So we had to take the stairs till 2nd-floor despite my mom is suffering from Osteoarthritis. 2) Hot water is available only from 5 am to 10 am. 3) The TV wasn't working (we couldn't able to start it) & was reported at the front desk once. But no action was taken. #For Local sightseeing & drop at Coimbatore we choose the hotel car which was quite satisfactory at a reasonable price. #Fooding was average at the restaurant & was a bit costlier....     Rude staff and rooms worse than a dustbin

    This is the worst hotel i have ever seen. During online booking i had booked premium room but hotel provided me deluxe room saying you only paid amount equivalent to deluxe room ( my bad i got to know this on the last night before checkout). Attaching the pics of room. Condition is worse than a dustbin. Upon discussing this to manager he was not even ready to listen. I would strongly not recommend this hotel to anyone. Rude Staff.     Value for money at centre of town

    Recently I stayed here in peak season(2nd Week Of May 2018) and I must say, I enjoyed my stay here and it was value for money. The front desk was extremely helpful and I would definitely plan my stay here in future. Only con was the pathetic food served in the hotel in the ground floor. This hotel is very close to charing cross (3 mins walk) and walkable distance to Botanical garden ( less than 10 min walk) and another 10-15 min walk to Rose garden. I stayed here for 2 days and hot water, sorry warm water was a problem. I usually woke up around 7.30am and there was only ice water in the taps. Room was neat and I was satisfied. the room we stayed( I and my 7 yr old son) was facing the busy road and the vehicles were non stop honking. As we were out of hotel most of the day it was a non issue. We didt use room service and we walked up to Adyar anand bhavan for food. It is a very good for a family stay and thanks to ravi sir who made our stay wonderful.... More

    Beware of your belongings. They may go missing...

    Last week i stayed in this hotel with my wife for two days and before check out i came down taking my car from the parking. i got call saying they got a missing blanket and they wanted to check my car.. This way they insult you. The way management responds is terrible.... More

Overview

Hotel Preethi Palace is a popular hotel in Ooty that offers luxurious comforts.   1. Guest must be over 18 years of age to check-in to this hotel.
  2. As per Government regulations, it is mandatory for all guests above 18 years of age to carry a valid photo identity card & address proof at the time of check-in. Please note that failure to abide by this can result with the hotel denying a check-in. Hotels normally do not provide any refund for such cancellations.
  3. The standard check-in and check-out times are 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may also be chargeable by the hotel. Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed to and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation. No refund will be applicable in case the hotel denies check-in under such circumstances. If you have any doubts on this, do call us for any assistance
  9. Any changes or booking modifications are subject to availability and charges may apply as per the hotel policies.
Booking Policies

  6. The total price is inclusive of all applicable taxes. However, it does not include additional personal expenses like telephone charges, meals that aren't a part of your meal plan, any hotel services you use (like laundry and room service) or tips.The hotel will charge you directly for these when you're checking out.
  7. Hotels may charge a mandatory meal surcharge on festive periods e.g. Christmas, New Year's Eve etc. All additional charges (including mandatory meal surcharges) need to be cleared directly at the hotel.
  8. Some hotels may require guest(s) to furnish a valid photographic proof of identity in original at the time of Check-in. Kindly carry the same along with you to avoid any inconvenience. The following documents are recognized for this purpose: Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence, Passport or Election Card.
  9. Note PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.
  10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
