Worth a visit as only a heritage property...

The design of the hotel is awesome in traditional Kerala style but unfortunately, that's all there is to it. The beds are lousy and linen is sub standard. The worst part is that the walls are wafer thin and we could literally hear the family in the next room and were super embarrassed with all their private conversations. The television is too small and the bathroom door is filmsy. The wifi is non existent. Mosquitoes are such a bother.
The receptionist is very warm and welcoming (sorry, cannot recall his name) and we were touched by the honesty of room boy, Rashid. I forgot gold ornaments worth over US$ 3000 in the room and were to drive away but he came running about to return them.
Though, we were touched by the gesture, we might not return.

The rooms r in Kerala style. We stayed here for one day. We have a feeling of staying in home. Hotel Bharat is near Gurukripa Heritage. We can have breakfast lunch and dinner. Gurukripa Heritage rooms r clean neat.
Kerala style rooms in heart of the city

Situated in Chimbottil Lane , very close to the Thrishur round . The famous Vadakunathan temple is 200 mts from the hotel, Bhagavathi temple is 600 mts by walk . Thrishur famous Bharat restaurant(pure Veg) is just 50 mts from this hotel . There are other restaurants and shops around this hotel as well , making it a comfortable stay here .
The receptionist and the owner of the property are very friendly and helpful . It is said that they are running this hotel from 1919 and they were renovated recently . The rooms are built in Kerala style appearance . We took the Non - AC room which was compact and well maintained . If you have many luggages then it would be difficult to place them all inside the room as it is small . The rooms have a small verandah area with a place to sit and enjoy .
Free Wifi is available in the hotel , but only in the lobby area and probably rooms close to it . They allow 24 hours check in and check out facility . The non Ac room was charged around 900 Rs . We noticed they have AC rooms which was told are little bigger and family cottages . Car parking is available with the hotel premesis . They do not have any restaurant within the hotel but the room service guys are good enough to get from restaurants around the hotel .
The ventilation in the bathroom / toilet was not good , which could be enhanced . Hot water is available round the clock . But no towel or toiletries were provided (except for a soap) . We stayed here for a day and happened to stay in the room for most of the day time because of strike in Kerala and it is comfortable enough to take some rest .
I would surely recommend this hotel for family or if you are single as well.

Rooms are designed as old style. location wise very good with nearby temples - shiva and Bhagabati to visit. Food Service needs to be organized. Hotel team is cooperative but you better understand Malayalam.
Accessible, vintage, decent n value for money

We stayed here for a day. This is placed just in the heart of the town. And is very next to great temple of Thrissur.
Room was small n good for a small family. It would be better if they provide mosquito coil for the night.
Their pricing is moderate. Room was clean, ac was Woking n toilet was well maintained with 24 hrs water supply.
This is also located to hotel bharat. Great place for food. All three veg meals a day.
