Decent place in good location to explore Delhi - great restaurant!

I found the room very comparable to the sort of rooms I have stayed in when travelling for business - comfortable, with unremarkable decor and functional amenities. The location of the hotel isn't particularly awesome in terms of looks and surroundings, but is actually one of the best possible in ND to wander around and catch transportation elsewhere. The hotel's restaurant is tremendous (actually separately recommended in the guidebook we were using) and its staff were very friendly and helped us set up a surprise for one of our friends whose name-day fell on our stay there.
Small, clean and friendly

I made the reservation being already in New Delhi. Wasim Khan at the front desk was really helpful.
The room was small but clean and nice. Down side, no view from the window.
The restaurant is great and before we left they send full breakfast to the room at 5:30am!
The laundry was very expensive!

I love walking into this hotel! The staff is wonderful, welcoming and if at all possible they have my room ready and waiting for me. The rooms and baths are always perfectly clean and fresh. And on departure they arrange everything down to the details. Amazing really!
An oasis in a hell hole of Delhi

My personal view is to avoid Delhi at all costs but if not, this hotel will offer some respite and has a good restaurant. We stayed for two nights and on both occasions, the rooms were small, and windows permanently covered. After looking what lay beneath the blinds, I can understand why.
The room immediately behind reception was the smallest of all, and a little noisy because of an air conditioning unit, immediately outside the window. Took me back to being in a berth of a ship.
We were so pleased however to be able to return to the safety of this hotel after venturing out onto the streets of Connaught Square. We felt very conspicuous and vulnerable.
On more than one occasion, we were greeted by the same man, who said he was working at our hotel and could he help. He was well dressed and plausible. We were looking for a supermarket/ATM, which he claimed were closed (turns out, both were untrue) and that it was too risky to be walking around in the area. He redirected to a shop which turned out to be selling Indian artefacts, rugs etc. At the time we were grateful for the fact that he appeared to want to help, going so far as to negotiate a Tuk Tuk for us.
Wasted our time and all very stressful at the time because of the language barriers.
I mentioned this to the hotel reception so that they could maybe consider making other visitors aware. However they appeared unconcerned and simply said that we should speak to no one.
On the plus side, this hotel has a lovely restaurant, and is particularly nice at night. Food and service is good but do expect City prices.
lovely comfortable hotel with excellent restaurant

I stayed here at the end of a wonderful but exhausting few weeks in India - it was the hotel I needed, peaceful, comfortable, excellent location, wonderful restaurant with a great complimentary breakfast, and really exceptionally lovely staff. The service was really 5 star! Wi-fi was very good, comfortable bed, complimentary fruit, great water pressure. Walking distance to metro and restaurants. They even held my room for me when my flight was unexpectedly cancelled and I arrived a day late, dusty and weary after a 12 hour drive. Excellent!
