Caters well for package groups
on Dec 21, 2017
We stayed at this hotel for a couple of nights as part of our excellent 'highlights of Nepal' trip with Lumle holidays. They clearly cater for tour groups and are adept at this but do not expect a bespoke experience. Our room was perfectly acceptable although the bathroom was a bit bizarre as everything got a soaking when we turned the shower on. Apart from the first lunch the food was as fine as one can expect a mass buffet to be. What set the hotel apart was the staff who were most helpful and attentive.
Delightful stay,memorable experience

We enjoyed a delightful stay, cultural show and all the activities at the Jungle Crown resort- as part of our most excellent holiday with Lumle Travel.
The hotel has a lovely ambience & a beautiful setting, everyone was most pleasant, kind & hospitable. Thanks to all
Particular mention & thankyou to Ganesh - a great bloke & our consummate guide - his eagle-eye and encyclopaedic knowledge, love and passion for the local wildlife, environment, ecology and culture made our experiences very special.
3 night stay at the Hotel Jungle Crown
on Dec 6, 2017
Our 3 night stay at the Hotel Jungle Crown was part of a 15 night package holiday with Lumle.
The hotel was very close to all the amenities at Chitwan. The accommodation itself was very comfortable, and the staff was exceptionally helpful throughout our stay. The meals were also of a very good standard.
Very nice hotel

The staff could not do enough for us and were very friendly, although the hotel was almost empty when we stayed so I cannot comment about busier times.
It is set peacefully away from the town, although close to the river and it is lovely to walk around the local area. There were working elephants everywhere and I never tired of looking at them.
We had a full itinerary of outings included in our stay and we either started from the hotel or were driven there by jeep. My favourite was the sunset walk where we saw rhinos and crocodiles. The canoe ride down the river was also good, so peaceful and beautiful.
Getting back to the hotel, the room is rather tired, but was clean and had a lovely sunny balcony. The bath was old and stained, but the shower was hot and powerful, which is what I look for in a bathroom.
Another thing of importance to me is WiFi and it was free, very fast and available in the hotel room.
There was lots of food, but as people have mentioned, it didn't all go well together, but I think that it is because the staff are bending over backwards to cook something that they think each nationality might enjoy, so I much appreciated it and full marks to the chef.
The gardens are beautiful and there is a swimming pool that looked nice but I didn't try it. They are also building an extension near to the swimming pool although I was not disturbed by any construction noise.
Overall a nice and interesting hotel.
Good hotel but had a strange experience
on Nov 9, 2017
We had a nice stay there.
But we were charged for buffet breakfast which is normally served free in a hotel of this quality. Which is both strange and idiotic at the same time.
Otherwise, the hotel was great. Lil' far from the main sauraha area but very peaceful and silent.
