I stayed in this hotel on a business trip for 2 nights. recp was good and bar attached too, i got a ground floor room which has no mobile signal and changed to another room which has no DTH set top box and finally changed to first floor room which was ok and food which was ordered was not good and also expensive. complementary breakfast was good with only Idly and plain dosa.... I stayed for one day on a business trip. The reception was neat so i guessed the rooms should also be neat. But i was wrong, its a old hotel recently renovated. The renovation was very bad... Bathroom was so ugly. Water heater was not working properly. The biggest fun was the receptionist said we have complementary breakfast while checking in. But when i went they said they serve either one dosa & coffee as complement (see how they cheat)... More

I stayed at Nanhini Palace for three nights. The place is generally good. Service too was OK. Good location.
However the minus points were:
* AC was not controlable. It goes full blast all the time. (room 305)
* I stayed with a child. Third person was charged 300 INR. But there was NO extra service. No extra bed, linnen, pillow etc. Had to share the bed.
* We had to leave at 4am. So I requested the reception to arrange for some sandwitches before going to sleep. The kitchen staff sadi that they will provide it in the morning (at 4am). I was surprised and wanted confirmation. BUT IT NEVER ARRIVED.
* We booked an airport taxi through the hotel. They charged extra too (I believe) but it arrived 30 min late with the driver almost asleep who dropped us at the wrong end of the terminal.... More
