    Horrible experience in monal hotel

    We arrived a group of 8 people on the 11.5.19. On arrival, we we're told that we can stay in our rooms until the 20.5.19. we booked 4 rooms. On the 18.5 we were asked to leave one of the rooms because people were willing to pay more for the room. We had a friend who was forced to leave the bed and pack his things. When we wanted to pay we asked very nicely for a discount for the inconvenience (seems reasonable for the situation). The owner started screaming at us for not wanting to pay the full price. He even called the police on us for no reason. In summary, it was a very horrible experience for us. I don't recommend staying at this hotel.... More

    We were a group of 8 backpackers.we took 4 rooms,in the begining the place looked fine but we booked for 6 days and in the fifth day the owner told us that we have to check out early because he has other people that are willing to pay more. they forced us to move out and when we asked really nicely for a discount because of the situation, the owner began to scream at us and told us that he will call the police on us. Really horrible experience and an unrecommended place!... More

    The hotel rooms are not maintained properly. There was power cut off every day early morning n no power backup.Food is OK. Room service is bad n too slow. Room service is completely close between 11pm to 6:30am.staff is unproffesional n unhygienic.... More

    Please don’t stay here. Most pathetic service ever seen in my life

    The hotel was terrible. There was no water at all in the hotel (neither to drink nor to bath) flush and geaser were not working, heater was small and not working properly. Quilt and blankets were very very dirty and were stinking badly. We requested for extra bed and they provided assembled 8pcs of sofa to make a bed which was really very rediculous. Staff was extremely rude specially a man whose name was vipin misbehaved with the ladies. They provide only 3/4th bucket of water per day for four people. The experience was extremely pathetic. My suggestion is not to go for the room if you wanna enjoy your vacation.... More

    Fantastic stay at Manali with great location, excellent service and food

    - The rooms are spacious and have all facilities like hot water in the bathroom, water heating kettle and room heater - but the last one does require you to pay a charge per night. - The location is beautiful and from our room, we could view the mountains and snow-clad peaks, through both the windows and the balcony. - The food here is absolutely fantastic. Some food items need to be ordered beforehand, and chicken is not always on the menu, but the taste and quality of the food is impeccable. - The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful and were always ready to assist us. Calling the room service from the phone in our room, it occasionally did take a long time for someone to show up, but that's forgivable as the service itself was very good. Loved our 3 nights stay here, and can easily recommend Eden Monal to other people looking for a hotel in Manali.... More

  1. Guest must be over 18 years of age to check-in to this hotel.
  2. As per Government regulations, it is mandatory for all guests above 18 years of age to carry a valid photo identity card & address proof at the time of check-in. Please note that failure to abide by this can result with the hotel denying a check-in. Hotels normally do not provide any refund for such cancellations.
  3. The standard check-in and check-out times are 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may also be chargeable by the hotel. Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed to and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation. No refund will be applicable in case the hotel denies check-in under such circumstances. If you have any doubts on this, do call us for any assistance
  9. Any changes or booking modifications are subject to availability and charges may apply as per the hotel policies.
Booking Policies

  2. The primary guest must be at least 18 years old to be able to check into this hotel.
  3. The hotel reserves the right of admission. Accommodation can be denied to guests posing as a couple if suitable proof of identification is not presented at check-in. Goomo will not be responsible for any check-in denied by the hotel due to the aforesaid reason.
  4. Child policy apply which may vary from hotel to hotel.
  5. Failure to check into the hotel, will attract no show charges as per Hotel policies.
  6. The total price is inclusive of all applicable taxes. However, it does not include additional personal expenses like telephone charges, meals that aren't a part of your meal plan, any hotel services you use (like laundry and room service) or tips.The hotel will charge you directly for these when you're checking out.
  7. Hotels may charge a mandatory meal surcharge on festive periods e.g. Christmas, New Year's Eve etc. All additional charges (including mandatory meal surcharges) need to be cleared directly at the hotel.
  8. Some hotels may require guest(s) to furnish a valid photographic proof of identity in original at the time of Check-in. Kindly carry the same along with you to avoid any inconvenience. The following documents are recognized for this purpose: Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence, Passport or Election Card.
  9. Note PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.
  10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
