    My girlfriend and I stayed at Hotel Mewari Villa for two nights. Our room was clean, comfortable and warm. We had hot water at our control and were given clean towels. The staff were very helpful and gave us a map with all the attractions on and made recommendations on what sites were 'must sees'. The restaurant on the roof top offers amazing views of the lakes and city. The food from the restaurant is on the more expensive side, but arguable the best food we've had on our tour so far.     We stayed in the Blue Room (302) with beautiful views of lake Pichola, even had a little balcony. Price was good. The room was clean and extra blankets were supplied when we requested them, also tea and coffee making facilities. There is a laundry service for a very reasonable price. The rooftop restaurant had amazing views and delcious meals. Spiral staircase to the indoor eating area might be tricky for some as are the many steps from the road to the foyer. All staff were extremely helpful, we got to know two of the staff, Rajendra and Vikram quite well, they told us tales of village life and Indian customs and made us very welcome with their sense of humour and smiling faces. We found this hotel thanks to Mr Salim Khan an autorickshaw/ car driver who took us all around Udaipur with patience and excellent driving skills.     Room was not clean, so dusty. We complain and they gived us new sheets (for us to change), and the new sheets was dirty, with brown thing on the corner... so dirty. So we went down the reception and we show to the staff and asked to change the room, he still give us other new sheets No hairdryer in the hotel . Wc not good for shower Not clean towels!!! EVERYTHING SO DIRTY... More

    Great stay, lovely support staff and very good roof top restaurant with a great view of Lake Pichola at a very reasonable cost. Very close to market place and other places of interest. Staff can arrange for a tourist cab service and the drivers are really good... More

    Very poor noise insulation and not the cleanest

    Got off to a bad start when towels and bedding had to be changed because of red stains (could have been blood). To be fair, was sorted straight away when I raised. Then had a terrible night - we were staying in a room on the third floor (with room numbers starting with a 4) which is directly below the restaurant. We hadn’t been feeling well and went to bed around 8 ish in the hope of getting some rest. Noise from restaurant was unbearable - constant banging and the sound of footsteps on the metal staircase that leads to the roof terrace. I complained at c11pm but wasn’t until restaurant closed at 11.30 that noise stopped. Honestly cannot see how anyone can be put in the room we had because of the noise. Again, to be fair they moved us to a quieter room the next day. We tried the restaurant the next day for dinner - and it was nice, albeit the covered/inside room is a bit run down. So overall the hotel is nice enough and wasn’t too expensive. The fact they responded promptly to solve problems salvages a half decent review. ... More

  1. Guest must be over 18 years of age to check-in to this hotel.
  2. As per Government regulations, it is mandatory for all guests above 18 years of age to carry a valid photo identity card & address proof at the time of check-in. Please note that failure to abide by this can result with the hotel denying a check-in. Hotels normally do not provide any refund for such cancellations.
  3. The standard check-in and check-out times are 12 noon. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability and may also be chargeable by the hotel. Any early check-in or late check-out request must be directed to and reconfirmed with the hotel directly.
  4. Failure to check-in to the hotel, will attract the full cost of stay or penalty as per the hotel cancellation policy.
  5. Hotels charge a compulsory Gala Dinner Supplement during Christmas, New Year's eve or other special events and festivals like Diwali or Dusshera. These additional charge are not included in the booking amount and will be collected directly at the hotel.
  6. There might be seasonal variation in hotel tariff rates during Peak days, for example URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the room tariff differences if any will have to be borne and paid by the customer directly at the hotel, if the booking stay period falls during such dates.
  7. All additional charges other than the room charges and inclusions as mentioned in the booking voucher are to be borne and paid separately during check-out. Please make sure that you are aware of all such charges that may comes as extras. Some of them can be WiFi costs, Mini Bar, Laundry Expenses, Telephone calls, Room Service, Snacks etc.
  8. Some hotels may have policies that do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples or certain foreign nationalities to check-in without the correct documentation. No refund will be applicable in case the hotel denies check-in under such circumstances. If you have any doubts on this, do call us for any assistance
  9. Any changes or booking modifications are subject to availability and charges may apply as per the hotel policies.
Booking Policies

  6. The total price is inclusive of all applicable taxes. However, it does not include additional personal expenses like telephone charges, meals that aren't a part of your meal plan, any hotel services you use (like laundry and room service) or tips.The hotel will charge you directly for these when you're checking out.
  7. Hotels may charge a mandatory meal surcharge on festive periods e.g. Christmas, New Year's Eve etc. All additional charges (including mandatory meal surcharges) need to be cleared directly at the hotel.
  8. Some hotels may require guest(s) to furnish a valid photographic proof of identity in original at the time of Check-in. Kindly carry the same along with you to avoid any inconvenience. The following documents are recognized for this purpose: Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence, Passport or Election Card.
  9. Note PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.
  10. All refund requests must occur within 60 days of hotel check-out. Any refund for checking out early or for no shows will be given at the sole discretion of goomo.com.
  11. In case of increase in tariff during the URS period in Ajmer or Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, the customer is liable to pay the difference if the Check-in date falls during those periods.
  12. Goomo acts purely as an agent to hotels/suppliers, hence Goomo shall not be responsible for issuance of any invoices on hotel room charges.
