Very nice rooms, lawn and terrace. Food is good but a bit costly. Staff needs to be more professional. They need to be trained on better communication and courtesy. Location is good. Air-conditioning system needs to be repaired.
Very Nice Rooms, Central Location, AWFUL FOOD.

I stayed from 7th to 9th July, 2017. It was an ac room. There are cooler rooms also, but in the heat of Udaipur, cooler isn't sufficient. The staff was courteous. Room was very spacious. The best thing was a separate space beside the bathroom with large mirror, convenient for getting ready. Bathroom and the fittings were average. Don't expect small bottles of fragrant herbal liquid soaps or something, the only toiletries provided was a small bar of soap.
They give drinking water in a large flask, which is good, better than the 500 ml bottles which most hotels use nowadays for which we need to keep asking for more water 3-4 times a day.
Beds were less than comfortable. Twin bed, mind you, not a double bed. So it will be uncomfortable for couples. And they have these old, cheap single blankets without a cover (only a sheet to use between yourself and the dirty blanket). That was a downer.
But the most idiotic thing was food. This hotel isn't made for people to eat. Even if I ignore the late room service, I can't even describe the food. So I attached the photos... What I got when I ordered a bread omelette and grilled cheese sandwich for breakfast one day was nothing but pathetic.
All in all, good place to stay. But only to stay. Don't eat anything here.

The best hotel to stay and roam around the city since it is centrally located. Railway station and bus stand are close from here. There is no restaurant but they do provide food which is average in taste. Staff could improve the quality of service. Its a budget hotel so stay for easy on the pocket.

It is centrally located and everything is close from here. Food is good. There is no in house restaurant but there js a kitchen and prepare food for their guests. Its economical and fits in your budget. It has A/c and non A/c rooms.
average place, there is a huge potential to convert this into a wonderful abode !

My family lives in Udaipur and whenever we gather, we have been booking this place for last 3-4 years for about 10-20 ppl. The building is a wonderful construction with traces of royalty and old style construction. However, the management and service can be so much better. It needs renovation . The staff does not appear to be mtivated and there is harly a trace of hospitality. One has to ask for everything from soaps, towels etc. and most times, they dont have toilet paper to provide. The rooms sometimes dont get dusted if a guest has not stayed there in a month and the bathroom cleaning is very very minimal.
The good part is that they always give you room at the last moment as well and are accommodating. Its conveniently located and priced well.
Hpe the management can look into making something better out of such a beautiful property . I am in similar business and would be happy to see this converting into a gem of udaipur !
